Yeah, I have all that, there isnt much, we dont have much of anything you are talking about there. He may or may not have been the CEO of Bain, he may or may not have sent a bunch of jobs overseas, he may or may not have bankrupted a buch of companies, he may or may not have done anything which could be actually worthwhile. He ain't very good at much of nothing that I can tell. He isn't sure about most of the real workings of the world, he can shoot first and find out facts later, he is pretty good at that.

Let's be clear on a few things: 1) Mitt Romney was born to a poor family, his father (and family) struggled until Mitt was in his teens. His father eventually became head of AMC (American Motors Corporation) and heralded the sale of same to Chrysler at a horrendous loss as compared to the stock price just 6 months prior but in the end, did exceptionally well and was worth, on his death, millions (as in 10 or 20). 2) The share of wealth that Mitt received when he was eligible to do so, he donated to the church....his....the Mormon church, either out of guilt, faith or simply wanting to make something of himself....on his own. And by the way, when he received same, he was already wealthy....more so than that which was offered to him in his inheritance. 3) He went to good schools because his parents believed in educating their children, much like many of you do and did. He also happened to be exceptionally bright and did well in school....probably part of his upbringing in some degree I'd guess. 4) Any inheritance (which again, was 100% given away) was not involved in any silver spoon opportunity he may have had other than opportunities that befell him having been born into a family with drive and determination and..... ...anyone else could have, has, and can do the same thing.

Raising the minimum wage doesn't help very many people at all (I want to say it's under 10% of all workers and not a whole lot more when you only look at hourly workers), and harms a great deal. It harms those with the least education and the least work skills. It makes it tougher for a business to hire a 16 year old because that position now has to provide more economic benefit than before the minimum wage was raised (or created, depending the time period you are looking at). You may make any conclusions you want to make, but you are dead ass (but a very nice one in your profile pic, I must say) wrong. Conservatives (and this will include many Republicans) are against being forced to provide wages and benefits that are higher than Market price. Price controls don't work. They always lead to Market failures. If a position is worth a good wage and/or good benefits, then that person will be paid a good wage and/or will have good benefits. Otherwise, a competitor will do so and the first employer will lose a valuable employee. If not, you're just artificially inflating costs. quote: What about Medicare? Obama touted the low overhead cost of Medicare in the debate. Romney slapped him across the face with a challenge. Romney stated that if Government can provide insurance coverage at a lower cost than the Market, then people will naturally choose the Government option. See how that works? If you want Government insurance, you can buy into it. If you don't, you can buy something else. You will be getting the same voucher as everyone else. How is that screwing people over?

OK..WOW! Unions...please show me one productive Union...teachers union? Where if you suck you have tenure and it's almost impossible to get fired. Early pensions and benefits for life at the taxpayers expense. That's why Chicago is broke...71% of the school budget goes to pension and benefits. How are the kids making out with that? Let's take GM. 2000 pages of workrules. Imagine putting your money into a business and if one production line breaks, you can't reassign the worker, you pay them to do NOTHING! But that's right, Obama was for jobs, so they closed any viable profitable dealership that had contributed to Republicans. So you invest your hard-earned money in GM and Obama comes along and gives you 30 cents on the dollar, (once again like Solyndra) rewrites the law to benefit the UNion who will fill up his campaing coffers with contributions. Don't worry, they only owe us taxpayers 50 billion, I'm sure it'll get repaid soon. Post Office...losing money hand over fist...paying employees to do nothing....how about Amtrac? Personally, I want to work hard and excel, in your union world, everyone's in the middle with no responsibility for their actions. Everyone gets paid the same, good or bad. You want no risk...no reward just mediocrity. Let's let government run healthcare...they have such a sterling track record. You probably missed the part where I said "....his father (and family) struggled until Mitt was in his teens." CEO pay in the 50's wasn't quite what it is today and because (Dad) became head of an also struggling firm...literally an "also ran", he didn't make his millions until he sold his stock in the firm to Chrysler, which was the bulk of his remuneration. He believed he could turn it around. He was wrong. Indeed, it wasn't until the mid 60's when AMC came out with the Rambler (an unusual move to say the least, but a bold one in as much as everyone then was buying big bulky tail finned Gigantasaurs....but the Rambler was a low cost, high mileage (for its time) vehicle and had it failed....so then would have AMC. It succeeded beyond anyone's wildest dreams and for several years AMC was the up and comer to watch out for. It took another 12 or so years for AMC to truly fail thanks to the failed move to the AMC Pacer, which fell on the market like a dead skunk. Shortly thereafter (in the early 80's) Chrysler purchased AMC solely for the Jeep moniker and but for that vehicle, all other AMC cars disappeared within weeks of the purchase.
