I actually have never given the term any thought at all. I've always just seen it as a descriptor, to take at face value. Can't say I use the term, either. I'm surprised at all the negative connotation, though.

I think that when someone has to proclaim that they are Dominant or Alpha - its an indication that they more than likely the complete opposite.

( I see a ton of this in profiles )- and then they go into some dribble about how awesome they are. [sm=lame.gif]

The ones that really shine - are the ones that dont have to tell anyone.
