Again I ask, what law was broken? Illegal dumping? Littering? Both are misdemeanor crimes and since there were cameras on the building, there might be video of the perpetrators of the "crime".

I make my feelings clear on threads I start as well as those I comment on. You should be aware of that. Fargle has nothing to do with what I post. I post my own mind and noone elses. Unfortunately, those who only say and think what someone on TV or radio tells them to say and think have a hard time understanding that concept. Maybe some day, huh?

As per usual, I am of two minds on this. Someone dumped a load of manure in a parking lot. Because of where the parking lot is, it's a good guess that it was a political statement.

Of all the different kinds of speech, I think a good case could be made that political speech is the most important to protect, based upon the constitution. Some people in Warren County thought that this was the statement they wanted to make.

Technically speaking, a law was probably broken. Animal (one would hope) feces was purposely placed somewhere where it doesn't belong. Someone broke a law (or three) while making a political statement.

The Alabama Freedom Riders broke laws, too.

Sometimes, civil disobedience is how a point is made and maybe even should be made.

Yes, the person that did this, if they're caught, should get a slap on the wrist but let's not start warming up Ol' Sparky just yet.

I would feel the same way if it were the Middlesex County Libertarian Headquarters.

Burning a flag is also vandlism but is protected as free speach. BTW I don't approve of that or of this form of exersizing that right.

Well spotted and pretty much what I was thinking, when I wrote the post.

In 1986, back when I was a republican, I had an absolute issue with anyone that wanted to burn a flag. I still have an issue with that person's choice but I defend their right to burn that flag.

I also don't smoke weed but think it should be legalized.
