Looks like Mitt took over 3 million in taxpayer dollars to advise russians on how to smoke cigarettes.

The must be saying Nyet to being baptized. Perhaps it's okay to poison heathens.
   Perhaps that Olympic trip to Israel wasn't to get Netanyahu to inappropriately involve himself in the election, perhaps Romney wanted  to just find out where he could put the cigarette machines. We all know that from a Mormon perspective Israel is chock-full of heathens.

So, Bain Capital, with Romney at the helm, helped at least one American company expand into a different country?!? The Horrors! He was hired to help them expand, he helped them expand, and then had the gall to accept payment for doing the work he was contracted to do?!?

Here's the neat thing, Polite. He started helping RJ Reynolds in 1990. He then approached British American Tobacco in 1992. Then, he was given money under Clinton...

Bain was hired to advise Yeltsin. Is there any proof that in that role, Bain helped it's tobacco company clients directly? Or, was that work already done before Yeltsin was advised?

Boeing, MacDonald-Douglass, Lima Tank, Lockheed, etc. have all used taxpayer cash to increase their own businesses, too. Working for the Government will do that, and the pay will be "taxpayer cash."

Status: offline 		Man, the real thing is that the whole Solyndra thing could have actually worked **IF** the Republicans in Congress had passed some actual tariffs in support of American businesses.

Solyndra's lunch got eaten by the Chinese, who with their slave labor just make shit so much cheaper. Of course, that's the role of Government to regulate international commerce so that Americans can build and grow their own businesses.

Yep, and those companies were helped prior to being hired to advise Yeltsin. Clearly, those are two separate things. Bain helped tobacco companies get into the Russian economy. Unless you have proof that Bain used any taxpayer money to work on tobacco's behalf, your argument has no basis.

Romney is an elder in the Mormon church
Said church forbids the use of any stimulants including nicotine.
Romney made Millions selling said stumulants.

It's almost like if you found out that the vice Preident of the Southern Baptists owned a chain of liquor stores and a coupla dance halls.

It's totally legal but DAYUMMMMM

I can see your point, and do see the duplicity. However, I think we can agree that not everyone is Mormon, a fact which even Romney would agree with. And, since he was actually using the cigarettes, he wasn't "breaking" any Mormon doctrines. Maybe it's a technicality that he wasn't actually selling them, either.

I do see where you're coming from, and acknowledge the questionable activities.
