In other news, Mitt Romney intially said that he wouldn't push for more restrictive laws to curb abortions....... Just hours later he reversed course and said yes he would work to outlaw abortion and defund planned parenthood.....

It all depends upon which audience is being addressed. Ol' Abe (I think it was him) told us that you can't fool all of the people all of the time but you can fool some of the people some of the time... and that's all you really need to do to get elected.

In other words, he answered truthfully and the reporter interpreted it the way she/he wanted. Romney answered the question beautifully. He is still true to his baby rights stance.
