lofn -> Small dog shock collar (10/12/2012 10:29:18 AM)

Lowes has petsafe brand small dog trainer for 100.00. It has 10 power levels. I'm looking to put receiver around genitals with Domme having transmitter. Does anyone know if anything such as garage door openers, department store security systems, or other frequencies may accidentally activate receiver. Any comments??? Thanks

I'm sure it's  not likely to happen, but it is a possibility.

I'd say the chances were incredibly small that you'd be somewhere where there would be another piece of equipment with exactly the same frequency, and that you'd be:
a) close enough to the equipment to get interference
and
b) be in proximity to it when the other equipment is transmitting

Still, if it does, it would keep you on your toes. Also a good way to deter you from shop-lifting.

Such devices are almost universally "bit-keyed" a technical term which means simply, like in an Ethernet card and its transmission and reception, the devices require a command or data packet be encoded or authenticated with the transmitter and receiver's shared string of bits.

The transmitter and receiver or transceiver chips are sold and installed in the devices as pairs or the "key" can be "burned" or permanentlywired or programmed into the devices during the assembly. Common in the very inexpensive ones is a 12 bit key followed by four bits of instruction and usually the designer requires at least several repetitions of the keyed command string to be correctly received prior to the instructions being executed. some have considerably longer keys and large numbers of possible instructions too. Thus the devices must meet the frequency requirements as well as the authentication codes to follow the valid instruction codes.

Modern inexpensive units for the consumer trade can easy have a 60 bit key or greater with huge numbers of possible instructions.

In ordinary terms if the devices have their specifications listed or available, the larger the size of the key, the more minimal the chance of the devices inadvertently executing instructions. After looking at several specifications it appears most are using at least 24 bit (with 8 instruction bits) and some pricier units must use 48 bit or higher bit keys in order to handle the number of functions the collar appears to have.

At the higher levels of encoding your chances of winning a national lottery are far greater then a properly functioning set of devices inadvertently executing an instruction.

I use dog collars for my non BDSM stuff all the time and while I don't use the cheapies like that, I cannot imagine that something would set it off on the same frequency. I don't know anyone who has had that problem with their dogs. That said, in my experience moisture and shock collars do not have a good working relationship. Now I know you wouldn't take a slave into the pool to play electro games but sometimes a bit of moisture WILL simply set off a shock depending on how well constructed the collar is. One rule of thumb I do have though is that if it isn't good enough to go on my dogs, its certainly not good enough to go on my humans.

The moisture and humidity is a different technical problem.

There are a number of ways of mitigating or eliminating the problem.

You might investigate the conformal sprays to protect the circuitry, some have breakdown voltages in the range of 20-30KV. Electronics technicians can get them and also marine supply stores often carry very effective similar products for use protecting essential electronics aboard vessels.

Here is a marine sample - http://www.marinestore.com/CorrosionX.html?cart=3433167690153964

google "conformal coatings aerosol" and you will see many electronics industrial examples.

Ewww,.!! Functionality wins,.. not really one to say sweat and perspiration are one with the other, Zaappp Zapp!!. One can say that these collars of zappyness are considered humane enough to exist, for a dog,.... woof... But I'm a kitten,.. Mew...? The simple point is what effects does this very specific electro play have on the anatomy of a human, or Kittten > . > and this is at close range of the command center at that. Hell less lethal munitions inquires lotso non lethal dosages of the non heart stopping stuffs, stun guns, tasers, an so forth, let's face it the police arn't focused on head shots with tasers.. So, this one well leave it to the dare-filled,. There's a thousand ways to die < . <,. or at very least lots 'o' episodes.... ^ - ^ no I'm sure there are more then that!,. But on the bright side things need to be tested people! We're not just slapping tit's together hear! > . >, ,. If one were to proceed with such endevour,. One would say that as a male to be kept in a cool environment. > . >,. If not it could be allll bad from the mentions above of others who know about things like amps and volts and from the sounds of it being fucked when those things get to high,.. While the idea is a hot topic that this one doesn't know of! This one is sure that such has already been done.. Research!,..

Honestly,. Pretty sure that dog shock collars are used in practician functionally in such environments, more so sure that there should be a smethera of info on the web about this topic and it's practical use as a tactile stimulus,. But as stated above.. Lotso research before testing however personally this one had stumbled on numerous video's of shock collars doing there shocking in practical formality on naked flesh,. Once again,... research,. But neat topic! ^ - ^

Master has worked out a way to use tens pads with our "dog shock collar", the shock unit gave me an electrical burn when we first started using it.

Failanex -> RE: Small dog shock collar (10/20/2012 9:39:13 PM)

So say you,. Such now sounds practical,.. how does the condition suite you?

cameronboi20 -> RE: Small dog shock collar (11/15/2012 12:00:01 PM)

i have used several collars in the past on slave boi's i've had in training, DON'T BUY CHEAP UNITS, and NEVER PLACE CONTACT POINTS ONTO THE SKIN OF THE SCROTUM , the skin there is thinner , and can be burner, its thinner to keep the testes cooler and the sperm alive, use wide base contact points or rig it like i did with mine so it strapped to the leg, and locked - and run 20 awg wire copper core strand - not solid core or this will break over time, to a cock cage, with one wire, an the other wire strip off the coating - make into a loop and wrap around the shaft several times. make sure you go for small dog weights - or collars for dogs under 110 pounds, anything bigger and you can leave a burn that takes several days to go away. i got my boi's trained to cum on command, an some even to cum on one or two shocks without being hard. if you really want to get into electro play pickup several books of electroshock therapy off ebay, the older the better , and you can rigger tens units even the cheap 15.00 units into some pretty fun stuff, NEVER PUT ANYTHING NEAR THE HEART OR THAT CAN CREATE A PATHWAY BETWEEN THE HEART, AND ALWAYS ALWAYS USE SAFE WORDS/MOTIONS

You're much better off getting equipment and accessories designed specifically for electrical stimulation. Try HERE
