Pop up ads are one thing but I have gotten nothing but crotch shots. If I wanted to look at crotches I am sure I am quite capable of finding and accessing them. But this is not consentual. And definitely not acceptable.

Maybe its because I havent logged out per se...but Im not getting the ads.... suggestion tho... email the owners of the ads with sound.....not CM I did that about six months (maybe longer ) ago. bitched like a mofo, saying it was unacceptable to have a porn track pop up . They apologised and they did eventually change their ad. IM no prude but Basically sound ads REALLLLLY piss me off

24 hours my Ass... Ive gotten the pop up 16 times today.. It has sound... what about people who have kids, or load the site when out in public... yeah I did that at lunch today... Great job Honestly. uuummmmmm i got the pop up yesterday, but not as a pop-under or up. it was as a new main page along side my existing ones. now i do not really mind that fact that the site needs advertising to run, but really.......PORN? loud obnoxious in your face PORN? so we as site users are not allowed to have crotch shots as main photos, and i'm not entirely sure why, but you can run adverts that are out and out porn that i have no choice about? that works out how exactly? am i now supposed to make sure that my sound is off while ever i use the site? only i didn't get the porn as i logged in as i was already logged in. i got it when i refreshed a page. if we as service users are not allowed to have crotch shots because it may be offencive to some how do you justify such advertising? if i go to a porn site i expect them to advertise porn, and also i am on my own in a private place so it doesn't matter. as this is not a porn site i think the advertising is seriously inappropriate due to the fact that we are not always alone, or in private when accessing this site. in this case i agree with others, tacky, inappropriate, and out of order. needles

For me, it opens in another page when I open the log in page, and because it floods the bottom of the screen, I have to close the page I'm on just to close that one, which is a major pain when I'm trying to do other stuff. If I wanted to see porn clips, I could find them myself, so it's not that not easy to close at all. I'm not happy that the sound is on, either. I honestly thought CM was better than this, and I can see that it could actually make people not want to bother with it any more, which is a shame. [:@]

Pop-up ads are becoming increasingly more obnoxious everywhere online, not just here on CM. I try to take note of advertiser and if it is a product or service I might use I avoid that advertiser. It's really tough, though. I love Amazon but they are the biggest motherfuckers when it comes to spam like this.

I thought it was just my laptop. I tried changing every setting but it just kept happening. Then it did it on the desktop. The only time I'm not assaulted by porn as soon as I log in is when I use my iPad. I dislike those pop ups with a passion.
