Now parents get the blame for not being PhDs in nutrition and for feeding their family the way they were fed... the food in the stores is largely corrupt.

Still you miss the point. Still you have failed to understand what my post is about. You can rant all you want about the food on grocery store shelves but, you know... (and although I am not slim I am not grossly overweight either) I know plenty of people that eat food off the shelves and are in perfect health, are fit and trim.

The entire point is anyone adversley affected by their own choices points the blame at someone else. Parents aren't being blamed for anything... they aren't accepting the responsibility for what their children eat. They do not say the word no. So, why not sue someone and place the blame on them? How about we blame everything on everyone else and we get off scot free? I am not talking about food. I am talking about personal responsibility and the lack of being able to admit that you (not you specifically, you in general) are to blame.

I am not totally disagreeing with your chemical stance and your issues there because there are issues there, but that is for another thread, not this one.

Unfortunately, this trend is going to continue until this country wakes up and stops rewarding stupidity.  The courts don't hold people responsible for their actions, so where is the incentive to accept that responsibility for ourselves?

You act like all fat people shovel it in allday long non stop.  One hot pocket alone is 310 calories, 2 is double that, if you're not educated about the shit you're putting into your mouth, or at the very least aware of it, Then "putting down the spoon" is not gonna do no good.

3 slices of pizza doesn't seem like excess but you consider how greasy the dam things are and all the toppings, It's not simply about " putting the spoon down."  I didn't stuff myself to refusal all day everyday, I did eat shit like hot pockets for lunch then not do anything pychical so I am a fat person who does not " not put the spoon down"
