My phone won't ring. It vibrates, and the speakers work, but no sound when I get a call. Ringer is turned up settings say what my ring the is and is on. Any idea what is wrong?

I got caught with that, my helpful son sorted it while laughing.

On the left hand side near the top, just above the volume controls is a little button. just change its position to up, if its down theres an orange light and your phone wil be silent.

I'd just thought noone was talking to me, until darling son texted to ask why i was ignoring my phone.

This is the only valid reason i can think of for having a child, sorting phones out

This is easily disabled if so desired: Settings > General > Keyboard > Auto-Correction = OFF

Technology is why I have a teenager. I just hand him the device and tell him to fix it, never mind explaining it to me.

Things are so advanced that in some ways it's easier to assume it's done by magic.
