chatrooms? (Full Version)

I didn't know where else to post this. I use the mobile version of cm mostly but today i went on the full site to use the chatrooms but the option for them is gone from the main site layout! Are the chatrooms no more?

When I use CM in the "full version" on a phone, I don't see the option for chatrooms, either. However, the chatrooms still exist, if you access the site from a computer.

The chatroom option is actually a flash program that connects to an IRC server which is off site. If your phone does not have the capability to do this (you probably would have to connect to the IRC server directly), then yes you will not even see it

As for collarchat, its the old IRC, or internet relay chat. Ancient form of text based chat, where you can create rooms, use colored text, do all kinds of fun stuff. Now each room can have it's own protocols and rules, and they can freely kick you out for breaking them no explanation needed. Because IRC is basically a blank space filled with user created content, monitored. It doesn't have just kink, you can find politics, religion, games, cooking, anything you can think of in IRC. And you can even create rooms yourself. Aside from the sometimes confusing rooms and quirky rules you might run into, it can get pretty interesting, very boring, or downright frustrating, depending on the time of day
