The LA Times has put together a very cool time lapse video of Endeavor's trip from LAX to the museum.

It might take a minute to load, and is well worth the commercial.

Thanks for posting that, Rich!! That was INCREDIBLE!

What I found funny about myself while watching it was that it took a few minutes for it to register that the foot traffic wasn't just another L.A. thing, that all those folks were part of the process! LOL

Anyway, thanks again!

Nobody walks in LA, Greedy

And you are welcome. I'm glad you enjoyed it (even if the music was completely lame).

I know that, although a large pedestrian population would have gathered to watch along the route (i understand that civilians were kept a couple of blocks away). I

Either way - seriously awesome video, breathtakingly awesome work from the folks that got Endeavour there!!

Lemme think here....I can click on this link to see a time lapse vid of a really large space ship going down the streets of California or....I can do something entirely unproductive.

Hmmmmmm.......

I saw the Fed Ex plane pull up and thought no way did they get to deliver it . Watching it all I have to wonder how many hours did it take to find the right route to get there ? That had to take several weeks and lots of measurements to get it right .

More than a few weeks.
I think the "few weeks" might have been given to what the best alternate routes for vehicles that would otherwise be on the shuttles route.
