I'm curious, what do you troll for. I enjoy going to the coast and trolling for mahi mahi. If it's the right time of the year, the yellowfin tuna are running and that can be a blast. Imagine 4 75# fish on all at once. Absolute mayhem on the deck. Wanking during this time isn't recommended tho as the mate and boat captain might look at you funny.

We are a big walleye state here, if you ever come out we will have to hit the hooks and leeches.

What state are you in? Minnesota? Wisconsin? Michigan? Those are the three states that come to mind first when I think of walleye fishing.

Minnesota, eh? I may have to take you up on that offer. I'd even lose the blue face to catch walleye in MN.

Do you fish for pike or muskie as well? I've caught plenty of pike, but I've always wanted to catch a trophy muskie. MN sounds like just the place to do that.

uh see if you can look me up on google maps.   I think one of the Battle Lakes (east or west) Battle Lake MN would be the musky holes closest to me, thats around 14 miles or so, I live very close to the north edge of Otter Tail Lake (damn good walleye fishing, in Otter Tail county, by the Ottertail River near Ottertail MN and now you know the rest of the story)   I have never fished them, but they are just big northerns after all (what you call pike).
