ORIGINAL: yourdarkdesire I hope your dreams ease soon. I know they can be very disruptive. I will sometimes have dreams about family where something is wrong. When I wake up the feeling is so strong that I rarely make past noon till I pick up the phone and makes sure everything is okay. My family is use to me, thank goodness! I also have dreams that are so vivid, so real, that even by dinner time I can still remember the details. My worst dreams, and the ones that wake up hubby because I am crying, usually involve my Mom. The dreams are usually totally normal. Think of watching a movie. Then, suddenly, out of nowhere, my mom walks across the screen. There is no interaction with her. She just walks into the frame, and tyen right back out of it. Now, MDA, before you start analyzing my dream for me, my Mom died 10 1/2 years ago. She fell into a coma before I got to town. I never got a chance to say good bye. To tell her one last time that I loved her. Even after a decade my grief is very unresolved, there has been no closure. I know that. And yes, I am crying right now. My relationship with God is on shaky ground. Even though I know, and truly believe, she is in a better place, I can't forgive God for taking her away. Oh, dear lady, how I feel for you. I understand, only too well, that depth and length of unresolved grief concerning a Mother. Perhaps your Mother is making cameo appearences in your dreams to contact you, and let you know she loves, has not forgotten you, and is well. Mine has been dead since '82, and it was an awful ordeal, with a lifetime of unresolved stuff, and not once, no matter how much I prayed for it, have I ever had the good fortune to dream of her. Tho' it may be hard for you to appreciate it at this moment, I am actually quite envious of you. In the event you feel I may be of service to you in this matter, or simply wish to commiserate, please feel free to PM me. Best wishes your way. P.S. If it were me, like a duck on a June Bug, I would hop on Mistress' generous offer, as I believe it sounds as tho' she knows of which she speaks.
