This is my first time posting on the forums although I've been on cm for a considerable amount of time under different aliases for my own safety. I often read threads griping about 'pro dommes' being nothing but worthless human beings and other terms etc as a pro in Ireland I'd like to make it clear that not all pro's are such awful creatures. I'm aware this may be met with criticsm and abuse but feck it, if your mature enough to understand where I'm coming from then fair play to you. I became interested in kink during my early teens, the exploration years, and became enthrawled in it. Years later it had become a significant part of my life, due to the economy of ireland in recent years I had to drop out of college as I could no longer afford to attend. With the jobs market virtually dead and buried I started to research the areas that will never die, they are weddings, funerals and the sex industry. I saw an oppurtunity to make a living for myself as a pro, offering as much as possible to have a monopoly on the market, after extensive research I decided rates that were industry standard if not lower, I don't do online play and from the on set I'm straight up that I'm a pro, I do not lead people on and demand tribute after a few days of correspondence, its made clear from the beginning. Throughout my time as a pro I have started a nest egg to use in order to go back to college to earn a business degree, I also run a vanilla business, although pro work is more profitable and stable, for the time being at least. I work hard, respect health,safety and privacy with my life. So if I'm considered an awful person for doing what I have to do in a country thats so fecked for the next 20 years then thats your opinion, deal with it. Being a pro isnt easy, ive had bad experiences and some that were truly terrifying. What I don't understand is how the men on here condemn pro's when he majority of men have no problem paying for an escort. Hypocracy is amazing I must admit. So before you condemn me, realise this I'm in my early 20's trying to make a living in a country destroyed by the recession, unemployment at an all time high along with mental health issues and drug and drink abuse. I do all this to give myself a better future, is that so wrong?

I think you might be confusing this board's attitudes of Pro Dommes vs Fin Dommes. The former actually give a service in exchange for money and have to continually update their clothing, equipment, personal skills and dungeon frequently at great personal expense. The latter seems to just be a bunch of little duck lipped teenaged panhandlers and we treat them as such.

From what I've seen of recent, they have all been tarred with the same brush, although usually I would hold my tongue and not speak up, seeing as there is littl to no input from pro's on the subject I wanted to restore a little faith in humanity that not all are duck faced and money hungry :)

For me, I don't have a problem with Pro - dom or sub. I think I don't understand why CM is used as an advert place for your business.

Most of us also have little time for scammers and 18 year olds who think b/c someone handed them a crop they are now a "domme." BTW: We get threads like this one on a very regular basis. Learn how to use the search function and perhaps we won't think you're just trying to drum up business.

What Hill said. Although, honestly, I'm a big believer in the freedom of perceived value. If both parties are consenting adults, I might think the customer is an idiot, but it's not my money, so it's not my call.

Much appreciated :P as for posting in the wrong section, apologies, but hey off topic, this kind of is right? I didn't post this to drum up business as I know the forums are dominated by america and the uk, sure what would I be doing travelling there? I simply felt the need to give a pro's perspective, as I've seen very little input from actively working dommes. As a young woman in my early 20's I just wanted to point out not every young buck is looking for a quick buck :) Actually on the irish scene there has been a recent influx of 'fin dommes' or the 50 shade brigade as I like to call them, which has in fact damaged my business as I've been categorized with them. `ell no its NOT wrong! There are many here, and some post alot... Theres a purpose and a need nor would there be pro domme`s. Years back back I contacted one from a web site in Colorado...If I would have had lots of money...I woold have drove every weeked to see her!
