"Through a closely held equity fund called Solamere, Mitt Romney and his wife, son and brother are major investors in an investment firm called H.I.G. Capital. H.I.G. in turn holds a majority share and three out of five board members in Hart Intercivic, a company that owns the notoriously faulty electronic voting machines that will count the ballots in swing state Ohio November 7. Hart machines will also be used elsewhere in the United States.

In other words, a candidate for the presidency of the United States, and his brother, wife and son, have a straight-line financial interest in the voting machines that could decide this fall's election. These machines cannot be monitored by the public. But they will help decide who "owns" the White House."

It wont be an issue unless Romney wins Ohio.

Just for the record, anyone that buys gasoline, is funding the Taliban via payments from the Royal family of Saudi Arabia.

Everyone that smokes pot is funding drug cartels in Mexico.

Everyone that eats corn products is funding Monsanto and therefore genetically modified foods.

Everyone that uses rubber tires is funding slave labor in South Africa.

Everyone that fly's is funding GE who manufactures 53% of the worlds jet engines who (purportedly) doesn't pay enough taxes.

Everyone who has an iPhone is funding sweatshop conditions in China.

Everyone who owns a car which uses air and oil filters is destroying American jobs with each purchase since they are almost entirely made in Cambodia, Singapore and Vietnam.

Let me set that record straight, you have it all cobbled up.  I am not Taliban, I am not kith, kine, or kin to the Royal family of SA.  I do however, have part of a lease on an oil well, and you may buy my gas with a clean conscience.

Hell, I ain't even religious.

And your oil gets mixed in with that of the Saudis, ergo, sum.

When I see Exxon and Sunoco station signs replaced with mnottertail signs....I'll be your first customer and I'll go on the news and say to the world "Buy American, Buy mnottertail"

Interesting factoids, but their relationship to the thread topic is far from clear.
