"Romney Potentially Setting Record – Biggest Home State Loss In History"

"
Historically, candidates which lose their home states lose the Presidency. Over the past 13 elections, only two candidates, Al Gore and George McGovern, failed to carry their home states. Even Walter Mondale, who lost against Reagan’s landslide, carried his home state — the only state he did carry, alongside of the District of Columbia.

The Guardian newspaper from the United Kingdom has found by poll comparisons that Romney is currently in danger of losing his home state by a record 17%, worse than any previous case. Gore lost Tennessee by just under 4% and McGovern lost South Dakota by just under 9%"

I couldn't agree more. Obama just wants to do the same thing he's been doing; blaming Bush and presiding over a stagnating economy that's bleeding jobs to foreign countries.

Sometimes, the oval office is about doing nothing. I agree that that's an accurate statement but I am sick to death of Ofailure's portrayal of Nero. Downtown's on fire!

Peace and comfort,

Michael

So what's Obama supposed to do? Offer legislation to ban job exporting? End tax breaks for job exporting? Require that all manufactured goods sold in America be made in America? Raise import tariffs and impose import quotas? What are the chances of any of these getting through a Radical controlled congress? All you Neos out there who are oh so eager to blast Obama, what do you suggest? Hmmm? Put up or shut up!

It does amaze me how conservatives can easily ignore reality and US History when both show their own party has unleashed much of the problems this nation has had to deal with....SINCE...the millenium started! Just the last three years, we have watched as Republicans have done anything and everything to undermine this nation's security, economy, welfare and democractic values. The ones that vote them into office give them a free ride to do anything they want, while bashing Democrats over petty things. In order to accept your material as 'honest' and 'truthful', DS, you would have to show overwhelming evidence you hold your party to twice the level of accountibility and responsibily as you do with the very Democrats (and President) you bash in EVERY post. And you honestly cant.

The White House under the current US President has done much in favor of this nation. You just can not be mature or honest to admit it. And it shows in the caliber of a canidate running for the GOP ticket. You dont like someone that lies to the American public, yet, are in favor of a person that lies more often than he gives facts. You want good goverment, yet this canidate's attitude is one that the job is nothing more than an ego boost for him. You demand goverment remain honest, yet, your canidate has many unanswered questions, and I'm not talking just his IRS Tax statements for the last decade. Have you read your canidate's white papers on Foreign Policy? The Economy? Creation of Jobs? Funny how you bash President Obama over the ARRA and the ACA but never read either cover to cover.

That'd be pretty simple to arrange, though there'd be trouble getting any such legislation into law past the fillibuster club. Punitive import duties are working quite handily for the Chinese, after all.

How about getting rid of his stock in companies that export jobs. Then he could rethink his concept that more regulation makes for a pro business enviornment. He could give evidence that he no longer considers business to be the enemy ( see his autobiography where he referrs to working in business as being behind enemy lines)

I just went to see Detrophia and it's no surprise Mitt won't carry Michigan. I also heard that Mitt's childhood home is now abandoned and condemned. DET has gone from a population of 1.6M to 740K.

And now let me inject reality into Owners fantasy...

Michigan Poll: Obama and Romney in dead heat

Updated: Oct 24, 2012 4:36 PM EDT
Foster McCollum White Baydoun (FMW)B, a national public opinion polling and voter analytics consulting firm based in Michigan and representing the combined resources of Foster McCollum White & Associates (Troy Michigan) and Baydoun Consulting (Dearborn Michigan) conducted a telephone-automated polling random survey of Michigan registered and most likely November 2012 General election voters for Fox 2 News Detroit to determine their voting and issue preferences for the presidential election.

An initial qualifying statement was read to respondents asking them to participate only if they were very likely to vote in the November General Election.

Thirty five thousand (35,000) calls were placed, and 1,122 respondents fully participated in the survey. The margin of error for this total polling sample is 2.93% with a confidence level of 95%.

The 2012 United States Presidential election will be held on November 6, 2012. Who are you most likely to vote for in the election?

President Barack Obama 46.92%
Republican Nominee Mitt Romney 46.56%
another candidate 2.30%
Undecided 4.23%

LOLZ on you Owner

So... Mitt Romney's the one that will bring the USA down.

Amazing what people think.

You do understand, that phrase has been uttered since John Adams ran right?

It`s amazing to think cons are foolish enough to believe Mitt and his ilk, couldn`t easily crash the economy AGAIN and worse.

But then again, who ever thought the cons could kill our economy and 4 and half million jobs...till they did just that?
