As this thread is called 'I'm glad' and it's the P&RS section, what if we actually stick to the topic? I think we should all post something that we're glad about, and share some of that love

I'll start:

I'm glad I went to work today because the little boy I've been trying to build a relationship with actually smiled at me. The first time in 8 weeks.

Who's next?

okay; i will answer the question
why "iggy"?
i'm a bit thin skinned and oversensitive;
even my sister watches what she says to me;
i don't have to take any form of abuse
zero tolerance for bullshit
instead of letting my anger toward the provokers
escalate
i iggy the fools

@autumnember
You cannot control how others treat you but you can control how you respond

that is so true
that is exactly the reason
i am using the option to iggyso i won't feel the need to strike back.

Why "iggy"?

DrG

Probably a (cutesy) way of saying "ignore"

I'm glad Bunny refocused us. I am extra glad the boy smiled...curiously sounds like my peep.

I'm glad the sun is shining, with an indian summer breeze.

I'm glad I am going to the theater tonight.

that i found the hide user (bottom left of the user post), basically an iggy
19 people on my iggy list
one person got iggied 4 times (biggest pain in the ass)
4 people got iggied 3 times (pain in the ass)
4 people got iggied 2 times (just irritating)
10 people got iggied once (a bit annoying)

Wait...how does someone get....um....iggied...more than once? Isn't it that once you hide someone, they're hidden until you unhide them again?

I am glad that Master is much happier these days.
I am glad that my daughter is talking to me again even though it's still a little....awkward.
I am glad I can catch up on chores and homework while Master is gone (as soon as I get off the net. ) and I will be able to have more free time with him.
I am glad the weather isn't as cold as it was a few days ago.
I am glad that my stomach problems are feeling a little better the last couple of days.
I am glad to be where I am and with the person I love.
I am glad that life has been blessed for me and him and us.

well, the iggy, hid all those posts; which is the same as iggying that number of times
it is cost effective
iggy once; kills all the posts, even if it is one trillion

Well, if you're counting the number of posts by the user that you put on ignore, isn't that kind of the opposite of ignoring them?

Sometimes I count the number of sips my cat takes when she's drinking water. So yeah...I understand. :)
