We aren't so much Disney addicts as kids movies in general

Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs, Despicable Me, How To Train Your Dragon, Space Chimps rock our socks, just to name a few

Master and I are HUGE Disney fans, and not just the animated stuff too. Apple Dumpling Gang, Son of Flubber, etc.

(Almost) Nothing better on a damp, rainy afternoon than curling up on the couch together with a Disney movie marathon.

Oh I love "How to Train your Dragon". I agree that disney is not the be-all.

On a rare day to myself I've spent it watching The Lion King, Bambi, 101 Dalmations with a few more to go and I feel so warm and fuzzy after it! Does anyone else get the same effect? Or am I the only person over 12 who still has Disney Days lol

I still love the old robin hood.

I'm not a fan of the 'modern' disney movies, dreamworks which is dispiclable me and how to train a dragon (which i adore) has taken the lead, disney is better in 2d animation, the good storys, i forgot about the aristocats :D and lady and the tramp!!

LaTigresse -> RE: Are you never too old for a Disney movie? (10/23/2012 11:14:23 AM)

Well, you've all found us out. Generic Dude and I are both mega huge Disney and other various animated movie fans. Love em!

In fact, we were just discussing a couple of weeks ago that we need to start buying DVD's of some of our classics that we have on VHS. The tapes are getting gnarly.

I think we watched all of the Toy Story movies as well as the Shreks, a couple of weeks ago.

my students had a 'film afternoon' last week as a reward for their hard work and enthusiasm.

We were all completely enthralled by Mary Poppins.

TNDommeK -> RE: Are you never too old for a Disney movie? (10/23/2012 11:33:10 AM)

I actually still have some of the old VHS that my mother bought me as a child. I absolutely love them. Robin Hood has to be one of my favorites. I am blessed to say I grew up in a Disney house, meaning, we went to Disney world every Christmas until I reached 18 and thought I was too cool for it, now at 32 I find myself saying yes when my dad asked if I wanted to join him and my mom this year...they STILL GO,lol. I know every song, and every word to most of the movies, lol.
