Status: offline 		Ok, this is just a bit of a rant...and I know the whole block and delete issue.............but I was having one of those "feeling good about me days"  Over the last year I have lost 50lbs, then over the past 2 months gained 12 back when i quit smoking....I have now lost 9 of those 12 and still want to lose another 20 lbs for myself....i will never be skinny but compared to where I was over a year ago I am damn proud of myself, I worked my ass off to take this weight off. Working out 5 to 6 days a week, eatting well.............and it's not easy, and can be quite frustrating when i see people around me who have never even tried to diet get approved for gastric bypass. anyway I am sitting here and i get an email from a "dom" that has one line in it................ever hear of the atkins diet? hmmmmmmmmmmmm The things I would love to say but i just deleted it....why bother but I don't get it whats the point....ok maybe I am not a sized 2 but whats the point of an email like that? ok my rant for the day. sometimes you gotta wonder what makes people so lonely and nasty for no given reason!

It's just frustrating that some people will go out of their way to try to hurt someone............and weight issues happen to be one of my biggest insecurities.........shit call me ugly call me anything but dont  go there lol. As for the smoking i need to kick myself back in gear after the accident a few weeks ago I started having one here and there and if i dont knock it off I'm going to be back to square one again. I felt so much better when i quit...now i wonder why i keep taking one here and there, i want to kick my own ass for it.

Status: offline 		I was watching a documentry the other week about happiness. If you smoke you will die three years early on average but if you are happy you will live nine years longer than average. So the answer is smoke and be happy and you've made a six year net gain. If you want to lose a little more weight, smoke a little more, you have six extra years on average to play with.

I'm trying to balance my life so I can smoke, drink and screw around and come out even.

Oh! And don't forget to dump your dom, you know it will make you happier but I don't know how that fits into the statistics.

Status: offline 		All these replies and "advice" saying that he is an arsehole and loser is child talk... even if you are correct. There are people who are very insecure that call themselves dominant when in fact they are actually over-compensating for their own insecurities. A lot of these people are the type 'a' personality you hear about so often. Unfortunately many of those have a need to tear others down randomly and with spite (especially strangers) in order to feed their own lack of self worth... it makes them "feel" surperior by doing so. They might be able to put on a wonderful facade on the outside that fool most people althought that doesn't change the inside psychology.

Once you understand the source of such a negative exchange, it is my hope that it will reduce any emotional trauma you have accepted within yourself.

Like yourslef, I have fought for the last 5 years in quiitng the smoke habit (after 20 years of smoking), I have gained a total of 40 pounds... Now I am working on getting rid of the weight as well... although I am finding that at 51 it doesn't go as easy as I hope... I have used atkins religiously as well as the zone and others... still, it is not easy when you get older and your body become resistant...

I applaud you for your tanacity to lose weight and at least right now, you look very attractive as a desirable woman.

the atkins has saved my life and i wish i had known about it ten years ago
i happen to think youre very attractive..just try to remember  that
there's always going to be some thing someone will find wrong with you if they want to..

A couple of days ago some person more or less called me a fat ass on a thread because my profile reads 170 lbs... mind you over 15 of these lbs are in my breasts and I am not fat, but rather athletic as i work out a lot like you.. some people are just mean spirited.
