Sorry that this seems to be the wrong section. The search function on the website does not seem to have worked for months for me, anyone else had this problem?

Put a thread down in Off Topic and tell us the details.   ONe of the things VAA who will come by will tell you is clear your cache.  

You probably should abandon this thread.

Which search function are you having problems with - the search for people on the collarme side, or the search for topics or threads on the collarchat side?

To the OP I'm going to move the thread to off topic so maybe you have more help from the users. You can also write support, but yes, Ron is right, first clear cache, reset all your search parameters to nothing, and search, then starting your parameters back. If you have any interests selected as part of your search, you are going to want to make sure you have selected the box "matches any interests" on your interests list, instead of "exactly matches". If you have selected an exact match, it MUST be exactl, versus finding others that have some of the same interests.[;)]

Sorry for posting in the wrong section and I really appreciate your help!

.... I think I have sorted the problem by making the max distance search read 'any'.
But this does not make sense, itis returning people in the city but why does it not show up people with 250 miles?!

clear out the box marked city.

The distance calculation is based on US ZIP codes. If you haven't entered a ZIP code in your account information or, as in your case, don't live in the US, the feature will not work.
