DesideriScuri -> Rasmussen Electoral College Scoreboard (10/25/2012 10:37:58 AM)

If you take all the swing states and dole them out according to who is leading right now, this is what you end up with. Romney leading 261-253. Ohio and Iowa both being tied at 48%-48%, there is still no clear winner in this race.

This one helluva race here.

(Edited to separate the two links.)

The National Enquirer is a more credible source than Rassmussen.

Owner59 -> RE: Rasmussen Electoral College Scoreboard (10/25/2012 10:55:03 AM)

Rassie has a two point Mitt-skew......

For months now......compared to all the other polls......they always have a 2 point lead no matter what the numbers are.

Two more recent polls have Mitt behind two points in Ohio.

The 3rd debate still hasn`t digested yet, neither has the news about Libya.

DomYngBlk -> RE: Rasmussen Electoral College Scoreboard (10/25/2012 10:57:50 AM)

Time last night had him behind by 5 in Ohio. And I don't think it is that close.

Owner59 -> RE: Rasmussen Electoral College Scoreboard (10/25/2012 11:04:05 AM)

IMHO....the average of the high and low counts is the most accurate way to predict.

And history backs me up on that. 99% of the time, the polls are accurate.

DomYngBlk -> RE: Rasmussen Electoral College Scoreboard (10/25/2012 11:17:40 AM)

In Ohio if Betty Sutton beats Jim Renacci it will be a very bad night for Romney. He needs all the Republican votes he can find in Northeast ohio. If Renacci doesn't deliver those...Mittens has a problem

99% of the facts found on the internet are 40% true... Abraham Lincoln

Gallup Romney 50, Obama 47 Romney +3
Rasmussen Reports Romney 50, Obama 47 Romney +3

Averaging three out of 4 polls shows Obama losing... But Owner's theory might be wrong[;)]

Rassie just put Obama 5 points ahead in PA....in a brand new poll....which means he`s even farther ahead in others......

Couple more points and Mitt`ll be giving up on PA and NOT buy the adds there he`s been promising.

Owner59 -> RE: Rasmussen Electoral College Scoreboard (10/25/2012 12:24:59 PM)

Two new polls from today put Romeny and Obama at 48% each in FL.....

Yesturday.....Mitt was two points ahead in Florida....

I keep saying... Obama will take PA.

DesideriScuri -> RE: Rasmussen Electoral College Scoreboard (10/26/2012 2:42:04 PM)

Just ran an update, using the same protocols and Rasmussen polling. With OH, WI, and IA all still even, I gave Romney all the states he is currently leading in, and Obama all the states that he is currently leading in. Romney has the EV edge, 261-243. If Romney wins OH, or WI, he wins the White House, as far as Rasmussen polling goes.

mnottertail -> RE: Rasmussen Electoral College Scoreboard (10/26/2012 2:47:13 PM)

I just ran an update ignoring everything Rassmussen is using as a protocol cuz it is ignorant asswipe and I have Obama at 271 and Willard sucking his thumb.

And according to RealClearPolitics....

290 Obama, 248 Romney.... according to what state they currently lead in.

So in an epoll there are no toss up states, and Obama wins them all... Really?[8|]

tazzygirl -> RE: Rasmussen Electoral College Scoreboard (10/26/2012 5:04:47 PM)

Do you not know how to read the map?

Here let me help you.

Toss up states are...

Nevada
Colorado
Iowa
Wisconsin
Michigan
Ohio
Pennsylvania
Virginia
North Carolina
Florida
New Hampshire

Now, according to the current polls in those states

Obama leads in the following...

NH, NV, CO, OH, MI, PA, VT, IA, WI

Romney leads in the following....

NC and Florida

Thats what the no toss up map reflects...

The CURRENT lead in the polls in those states according to RCP.

A site you just recently used yourself. [;)]

Does that help you out?

erieangel -> RE: Rasmussen Electoral College Scoreboard (10/27/2012 12:58:40 AM)

The right wing has been going ape shit over Nate Silver.

His computer model has consistently given Obama the win by a wide margin--except right after the first debate where Obama chances of winning dipped near 60%.

Now let's see if you can follow along...

RCP uses local polls for it's model

If there's a single poll, that's the poll they use

If that poll happens to favor democrat demographics, it's a biased poll.

RCP just reports what these polls provide, it does not conduct polls, nor do they verify the information... It does however actually tell us who's doing the polling.

I never mentioned their map, I only pointed out that Romney has the lead in 3 out of the 4 major polls reported on RCP.

Now if you want to believe that Obama's actually going to win this I can only shake my head in wonder at your blindness.

10 days... Tick tock
