There once was an aquarium, in which swam a liberal fish, a conservative fish and a libertarian fish. The water started to get bad because the water filter needed fresh charchol. The liberal fish said, "We must work together to put fresh charchol in the water filter or all the fish in the aquarium will die." The conservative fish said, "All of us 'working together' is collectivism and smacks of socialism. However, if we get the fresh charchol exclusively from my friend's charchol company (and he gives me a kickback), I will support putting fresh charchol in the water filter." The libertarian fish said, "The water filter is an unconstitutional intrusion by big government in our lives and is an attack on our personal liberties! Every fish for himself! Live free (without big government water filters) or die!"

Chortle. I've come over all Rightie: There was also a Communist fish and an anarchist fish. The first said, 'Revolution comrades! Let's all unite as one and turn the aquarium upside down!' But the anarchist fish said, 'What kind of statist solution to our oppression is that? We should just smash a hole in the aquarium and swim through to glorious freedom!'

Actually the liberals said: At first, we need funds to do the job, let us have a charcoal tax. Then they formed an action committee, committee to help female fish and minority species first, and a charcoal department. They solved the problem, fish did not die, but due to high administrative cost only 5% of the filter was possible to replace so the life became unbearably miserable.
