On the collarme side of things, the only customized setting I have for profiles is the state - Hawaii. So I quite often see a different profile every time I log in.

The other day, I saw a profile photo that looked, well, let's just say I suspected it wasn't really the photo of the person who made the profile. Doing an image search on Google, I found it was the photo of some young woman in Poland. (Kind of far away from Hawaii. ;) So I sent a message to "her", commenting on the photo and citing the part of the Terms of Service where it states one must "own or control all intellectual property rights" of uploaded photographs. I got a response, but not one I expected.

Hi! How would you like to grab some coffee this week with me? I am always up for a night out, so get back to me whenever.. ausername at) h o t m ' a i l .c o m and i can get in touch with you from there. Bye bye.

My first thought was "delete". But then I thought maybe I should send a message back and say "oh yeah, let's meet up at one of the shopping malls" and suggest a time and place, but not show up. Then I thought, maybe I would show up, but just to satisfy my curiosity over who would actually show and not necessarily reveal myself.

In the end I'm probably not going to do anything.

What would you do? :D

I'm going to guess the person has an auto response on so that if someone writes them, this just automatically is sent back. I'm going to guess if you sent another email, you will get the same response back again lol.

Hahahahaha! I hadn't thought of that! I guess I didn't realize you could tailor an auto-response since I've never used one. You're probably right! Dang...

I don't see the point, whats the con suppose to be?

I wouldn't give my email address incase it was a
account set up to collect kinky peoples edresses to
sell them to spam companies, but if you arrange it
through CMail, I can't see what the con would be.

I'd say CMail something about meeting up for a
coffee I guess...

And have you ever met "Dog, the bounty hunter"?
He lives in Hawaii doesn't he? Seems like a cool dood.

The con of the user is to get you to email them, then they've got your personal email to spam.

I would message again.. if you get the same response, delete. If they do and it's not far out of your way.. why not. LOL
