I never did post here in the introductions and I haven't posted in about 2 years, I think. I don't remember. I have a lousy memory, but then again, it occurs to me that everything I'm going to encounter and endeavor to manage will take place in the future. So a bad memory isn't such a big deal.

I need to update my profile. I think I'll put at the very top that I have two kids to raise for at least another 6 or 7 years, but truth be told, it's a lifetime career - not one everyone cares to take on. I'm freakin old - anyone over 43 please forgive the insult. It's all in the mind... well, the body counts too. I'm just beginning to feel like this is a hopeless pursuit. One way or another, I've been attempting to live a lifestyle that requires a match as precise as splitting an atom. If it's the journey that matters rather than the destination, I'm doing a lot wrong.

So here am I once more, this time introducing myself. The name I chose not because I am Muslim, (nor am I Middle Eastern btw) but because I love Arabic and think highly of Islam. So that should be the second statement. For those who aren't familiar with "alhamdullilah", it means "praise be to Allah/God", an expression of gratitude and joy. I chose it out of respect for the language, the culture and the faith & I intend absolutely no irreverence by employing it. In fact, the opposite is quite true.

Now, I remember why I didn't post an intro years ago or the years before that... I ramble. I just never want to be a disappointment following anyone's assumptions. Thank you for allowing me to post here and to keep coming back. Well, wait, I keep coming back for lack of success! No wonder I'm jaded. Lol.
