LMAO Me too Tazzy, the early teens and twenties were a hugely different timeI nursed plenty of women sufferagettes and flappers in retirement homes and Guys who fought in both world wars and they had PLENTY of swear words in their vocabulary . And todays geriatrics are certainly not victorian either

More Class Act

As usual newsbusters lies.

The event was a previously scheduled campaign event, it even started with the standard Mitt bio video from the RNC. The can goods collected won't be accepted by the Red Cross, or any other major relief group. Rmoney is reduced to claiming he'll distribute them himself.

You can find numerous tweets and other posts by the reporters following Mitt expressing their dismay at the way this was done.

ElizabethAnne -> RE: Class Act (10/30/2012 5:39:09 PM)

Yes it was previously scheduled; so what? Why on earth would the Red Cross turn it down? Ohio stuff not good enough? Or is it because it came from the PRIVATE sector? Buckeyes wanting to help people in other states; yeah that's so horrible, how dare Mitt try to bring people together during a disaster; wtf was he thinking?

(Well, he is a Republican. You are aware that they're Satan's spawn?)

Lucylastic -> RE: Class Act (10/30/2012 6:04:46 PM)

If it had been obama doing that, people would have claimed he was doing it all for an election stunt....but thats SO unfair to do to Romney...waaaaaah
Good for the people who donated, and mitt got up for it. kudos.....but the RED CROSS need MONEY and BLOOD. As they have stated NUMEROUS times.
CLASSY???? as much as Moore has.

ElizabethAnne -> RE: Class Act (10/30/2012 6:53:42 PM)

Wow; I just watched the weather channel - and Breezy Point had over 100 houses burn down. I wonder if they might be interested in some good ol' midwestern items. Damn, in the face a disaster affecting millions of people your concern is about cutting down people trying to help - someone that has an outlet and using that outlet for good. This happened in Ohio - Kettering Ohio - where the unemployment is 8.9% - they may not have the MONEY to help - but they gave what they could. How DARE you make light of what they gave and what they did.....and who headed up the effort.

Get over it honey, and try to see GOOD came from it.....you could have left your comment at kudos; but no, typical rhetoric and you couldn't.

Honey......get over yourself....I didnt make light of it, I actually commended them on it if thats not good enough for you tough SHIT.. and guess what.... Im more than aware of what poor people do for other people in need..Ive done more work with the red cross than I care to mention, Ive also donated money where it can best be used... YES today.

Lucylastic -> RE: Class Act (10/30/2012 7:13:16 PM)

ElizabethAnne -> RE: Class Act (10/30/2012 7:13:25 PM)

Great for you..you have the money to donate; Maybe you don't live where the unemployment is still nearly 9%; But these folks do. yes you did give kudos - too bad you didn't shut up at that point. You don't live here, and you don't know anything about our economy. They gave what they could. and I am sure someone will be grateful.
