I said I remembered the funeral,not Kenned...sheesh I was 4 years old [8\|] Only later was I able to connect the dots....funny thing is the memory gets muddled up with an aunts funeral that also occurred during my early years. In reality these events happened a good year,year and a half separated. I guess,in my mind,all funerals got pushed together,that are all adults crying...who knows [8\|]

I guess your point is made.....you just don't/didn't give a shit about an eath shattering event. And yes,before you give me some pithy reply,whether or not you considered it so the assassination of an American President is/was an earth shattering news event. The fact that yoi were able to stay willfully ignorant of it does not impress me in the least,as a matter of fact it is rather sad that you think ignorance of the news of the day is something to be lauded.

What I think is irrelevant. It's all about the pageviews, baby. If I want validation, I look at my 5 digit slashdot uid any my excellent karma OR my incredible reddit numbers ( under my REAL NAME, btw... ). And since the consensus was that it wasn't racist, then this isn't either, is it?

While I have studied his Presidency fairly extensively, in school, I have about the same connection to that event as I do Lincoln's. But I do however understand Ron's parallel.
