I stumbled across this website in my internet travels and it had me saying to myself WTF so many times, i wanted to share here. I personally have my own reservations about the evils of organized religion, but all i really want to do is share this "Cybelian" culture and see what you think. I suspect the folks there are looking at reality through some pretty thick fantasy glasses, but i don't want to judge, just discuss. What are your thoughts? Cybelians - First Church of Femdom sns. Any religion that is based on an unbalanced sharing of power is not something I want to be associated with, whether it is paternalistic or maternalistic, any religion that places one gender/sexual orientation/financial status/lifestyle above another is perpetuating the ideal that some are more equal than others.

Interesting.... very interesting.. parts of it I like, parts I don't.. Will have to mull over it a bit and do some research on the topic. I know of one other Female dominanted religion but it did not dehumanize and degrade men.. I'll post more later. Eden

After reading the website it kinda struck me funny that the whole marriage contract looks a lot like many other slave contracts that are floating around. Perhaps this is a little judgemental, but it strikes me as lazy D/s. I don't care if someone gets involved in something like this...I mean...its their life. Have fun. But are people so lazy that they will not sit down and decide for themselves what they want to do in their relationships? Rather they will allow someone to dictate to them how they should behave? Pre-formed contracts require no thought or creativity. Thats the only issue I have with the whole website thing. If I were a FemDom, I think the notion of someone telling me how to lead in my "marriage" would really piss me off. ~Thorns
