You know those dreams you don't want to wake up from?

It was a total flashback to my teenage years, when I was pretty innocent. I was just making out with a guy (nevermind that for whatever reason, I think the guy was Dexter, you know how dreams are weird, whatever). Just two kids making out, but I was clearly in charge and on top.

I started to tighten my fist in his hair, which I like to do, and I know it hurts. Most guys just tolerate it, but he lifted up his hand to take me by the wrist and start to pull my hand away, and I could tell he was going to stop me because he didn't like it, it was hurting him.

But he could tell, from the change in the way we were kissing, the hairpulling was really exciting me. So he stopped from stopping me, and instead put his hand down, endured with stifled groan, and clenched a fist in the bedsheets to "suck it up."

Completely harmless little scenario (sexually), something I remember happening to me in my teens, but it totally encompasses what arouses me most about male submission -- enduring discomfort, ultimately, for my pleasure. Especially when it comes authentically and without warning, honestly, without pretense.

It's almost impossible to "recreate" that in a totally manufactured BDSM "scene" but I constantly try to.

I have had lovely dreams like that; for me it's also a particular sound and motion of a man submitting to and being entered by a strap-on; my maneuvering him into position, putting pressure on the small of his back as he tilts his ass, my whispered instructions, his stoical begging, the incredibly arousing 'Uhn!' he makes when I enter him, the counter-intuitive motions backwards/extension motions he makes to give me pleasure, rather than the forward flexing that would give him pleasure. Thanks for all the follow up replies, they have been great to read. Even though that particular memory (or mix of memories) is so "tame" in comparison to the types of things I do now (and we do, as the collectively kinky!), I still wonder if it's those things that really set the foundation. Or, is it a chicken and egg thing?

For example. was I kinky before that "hair pulling" thing happened, or did that "hair pulling thing" turn me kinky? Did something in that moment make me addicted to the idea of male surrender, because it happened to be a highly sensually/sexually charged moment? Just as some theorize that a highly sexually impressionable teenage boy may become attracted to lingerie, shoes by experimenting with them in a highly aroused state?

There's no doubt that I was wet, pre-orgasmic (whether I knew it or not, I was still young) at the moment of the angsty, "I'm hurting him and he knows it and I know it but he isn't make me stop" moment, and if that got *seared* into my sexuality and made that impression in that moment of time, it could very well be that it was flashes like that which turned experimentation with curious power exchange into bonafide kinkster. This seems to say pretty clearly that things were already the way they already were. But that this fella was a particularly flavorful snack given your youthful palate.
