Obama been campaigning since he got elected in '08. I think 's
what he likes to do best.

Hey when you get a chance, you might want explain to Mitt that the President has a whole staff with him on a.thing called Air Force One.
My guess is that if he has all the tools to run the country during a thermonuclear war, he can probably do his part of the management of the ongoing crisis without missing any
opportunities to help.
Perhaps we should be concerned about the fact the clown running against him thinks you can't.

What I find amazing is that Romney supporters are all over the hopeless's idea that the states should handle things, but then have the balls to complain that they think Obama isn't all up in the states' business.

Can't have it both ways.  I'm a NJ resident and not a huge fan of Christie, but I give the man props for always speaking his mind, including when it comes to complimenting our Democratic president, and openly refusing to give "equal" support to Romney, who wanted him as a running mate.

BOSTON -- New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, who was effusive in his praise of President Barack Obama when the two leaders toured damage from Hurricane Sandy last week, turned down a request by Mitt Romney to appear with him at a rally on Sunday night in Pennsylvania, The Huffington Post has learned.

"You can't tell me he couldn't have gone over there for a night rally," a Romney campaign source told HuffPost.

Unbelievable that he was asked to make the campaign a higher priority than what his state is going through.

Wow... how crass of Romney. Im sorry, Lucy... but it seems obvious to me. If I were Christie... there wouldnt be a chance in hell of me leaving my state in its condition to go appear at a rally anywhere. My respect for him keeps going up.

20 minutes away? An election coming up in days? Not like the next 4 years aren't going to be important too. I think it stinks.

I wouldnt care if it was 2 seconds away. Christie is in charge of NJ... not PA.... not the US... NJ. That is where his ass belongs until his state is back in working order.

Had Romney gotten off his ass and went to Christie for a photo OP, then I could see something else behind Christie's refusal. Im sure Cons are calling him a RINO... I simply see a conservative very concerned for his constituents. Now, thats a conservative I can support.

Doesn't surprise me in the least. He's disconnected as an unpaid fucking cable subscription.
And before the sun rises twice he's likely to be disconnected from politics for good. The GOP won't wipe their asses with the guy after he loses.

Wudie is is probably the least qualified person in American to criticize an emergency response considering he put the NYC emergency command and control center in the one place the terrorists were sure to strike....the World Trade Center...................AGAINST the advice of every emergency expert.

During that attack on 9/11.....he should have been in that center...... directing his dept. heads and emergency responses and the like......

Instead he had to walk around the streets of lower Manhattan holding his dick and looking useless....

He also didn`t give the FDNY the right radios that would allow them to communicate inside buildings that they had asked for for years.

With those radio....most of the firefighters and cops who were still in the towers could have been ordered out in time to save them.

The NYFD has never forgiven rudy and IMHO...should never.

Are the same people bitching that Christie isnt helping out Romney with his campaign.
By the way according to some tweets, hes not only a RINO, but a RHINO(from repubs!)
What a TWIST

Here is how his "hand it back to the smaller entity" philosophy actually played out in Massachusetts.
We had a 3 billion dollar deficit, more than half got displaced by a capital gains tx signed into law by the previous governor. Which Mr TaxBuster DID NOT repeal or.amend, btw. Then he cut the state aid to cities and towns. That's how the income and other taxes make it back to the cities and towns to do things like help fund schools and.otherwise maintain the municipality. Ok... In Gloucester, we got t by close.to a third. They in turn raised my property tax 4 times over the next 4 year's. My $1500 / year property tax went to $7000+
It looks good at the top of the pyramid scheme, but the smaller entities can't manage it. Could they in several decades? Probably not without a top to bottom balancing of the books first. Romney certainly has no recipe for that.

I don't pretend to be political savvy, but that sounds pretty much like everything I have heard or read about Romney.  After all, he openly admits he doesn't care about the 47%, right?

The reality is that just like with this storm, people seem to think that change and fixes happen overnight.  When it doesn't, the people want someone to blame, and after all, isn't that what the majority of this pissing match of an election is all about?  The president has very little real power.  They can take credit for change, but most intelligent people must realize that the president or candidates have teams of "idea" people who help them figure out what to want credit for.  Mainly they are battling for a job that pays less than they make in the private sector so they can be blamed with everything that goes wrong.  That alone shows they are all crazy, lol.

When Obama was first running, I told people he was going to win, while everyone swore McCain would sweep.  My reasoning had little to do with campaign promises.  McCain lost the second he took on Sarah Palin as his running mate and she opened her mouth.  After all, the guy was older than dirt and if he kicked the bucket in office, no one wanted her to take his place.  Meanwhile, Obama was, like it or not, going to get minorities who never bothered to vote to register and do so, which is exactly what happened.

Now, you have Romney coming in thinking that he has the "stuff" to get elected.  He admittedly doesn't care about the middle or lower income population, which is a big portion of the voters (1% anyone?).  He has gone from pro-life to pro-choice to be more appealing to women, but if he gets in office, will want to overturn Roe v. Wade.  Luckily, even if he does win, he won't be able to do it, but he will still attempt to set the country as far back to Puritanical times as he can.  That would be a huge loss for this country.  Then of course, there is him being a Mormon which alone hinders his election.  JFK had incredible charisma to overcome his being Catholic to get elected, but when people think of "Mormons" they think of polygamists and the nutcases in Utah.

So it all comes down to the basic premise of whether or not people can get over Romney's Mormonism and whether or not the white supremists who never thought Obama could get elected are going to take off their hoods and go vote.

Does Guilliani hold elective office? No? Why would I give a flying f*** about his opinion, then?

Hey Stern how ya doin ?
Lol,yeah someone, actually Aswad as I recall, asked me about the possibility of Romney having another go at it ,should he lose.
I replied that there was no way he would still be considered viable after what is essentially 2 failed Presidential runs,,,he should be toast, politically speaking, after today.
