Hello -i am a 37 yo female submissive that is entering into the lifestyle with my Mistress who i have known since jr high school-this will evolve in the next few years to a 24/7 D/s arrangment. i am curious about so many aspects of this lifestyle and would appreciate any advice/tips/answers from exp.D/s couples ,male & female subs ,or male or female Dom/Dommes.
my outside interests are my 2 cats-Bon jovi-Twilight movies & books-Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart movies-reading-travel-and Nascar races.

Welcome to the forums. I guess if i had one piece of advice for you it would be to not forget to use your brain. So many think that because they are submissive that they should not question or use their own heads but really this is just another relationship. Good luck

I took that to mean take your time and do it right so you don't do it wrong. In this case it might mean something a little different. You have arrived. Hurry at this point will not be helpful.

Welcome to the forums, alice. Any Bon Jovi fan has superior music appreciation in my book.

As for tips, I would say to approach BDSM as a huge buffet of many options. Some you will like, some you won't. *YOU* get to pick and choose what is good for you.

Like at a real buffet, some eat the meat, others are vegans, some are allergic to seafood. Don't let anyone put you down for your preferences.

Although at first glance the stuffed mushrooms may not be your thing, you may find over time that you want to try them.

Lastly, remember that this is supposed to be fun, it's supposed to make you happy. So enjoy the feast !!

Steven, we didn't start as young as you did! 37! I was 42.
