Mods, feel free to move this anywhere you want but it seems that a lot of the folk hit are down here in the basement. Maybe it's divine retribution cause we're all assholes LOL.

Have you ever said "If I knew then what I know now"?

Well, some of the posters have already been where you are and we have info you might need concerning dealing with insurance companies, mortgage companies, FEMA, etc.

I went thru Andrew. There are posters here who went thru Katrina, Hugo and other storms.

I ask this. If you're affected by this storm and have a question, ask here.

If you have real, honest to whatever deity you believe in EXPERIENCE dealing with the faceless bureaucratic fuckups after a disaster, offer help to these folks.

Let's go beyond politics here gang.
