Jenny Maxwell, who played the spoiled girl in the movie, has some painful memories. The story goes: Hal Wallis production demanded her to throw herself into the see to get drowned in a scene that involved Elvis saving and spanking her. At the end of filming for that day, wind knocked a heavy reflector standard on the back of Jenny's foot. Nothing was broken but she was prescribed a cane for a few days for her painful bruise. She said, "The cane helps my sore foot. But it doesn't do anything for the seat of my trouble."

Hahaha, nice.
