I just found this site yesterday, and already enjoyed some good conversations with people here. Thank you!

I am new to all this, but feel it strongly. I'm not too certain how to proceed... so any Californians in particular, please make suggestions for good ways to get involved (Bay Area for now, San Diego in the fall). How do you learn to be Dominant? How do you meet submissives?

Intellectually, too, I'm fascinated by the facets to this, and the various desires people have... for sexual kinks, for physical restraints, for pain/inflicting pain, for non-sexual control...
