Education vs who they voted for as per FOX news.

http://www.happyplace.com/19076/election-infographic-shows-most-educated-states-voted-for-obama

According to FOX, the 10 best educated states all went Obama. Of the 10 worst, 9 went Romney.

Curious democracy and land of super delgates

What I read in my illiterate country of savages: source bbc

1) Men and women split between the candidates: overall, 55% of women voted for Mr Obama, 44% for Mr Romney. For men, 52% voted for Mr Romney and 45% for Mr Obama.
2) Mr Obama overwhelmingly won the black vote with 93%, a sliver lower than four years ago. Latinos also voted strongly for the Democrat - 71% in total and probably made electoral differences in Colorado and Nevada. Latinos or Hispanics made up 10% of total voters in the US, up one percentage point from 2008.
3) Young voters were a key part of Mr Obama's victory for a second time. Sixty per cent of voters aged 18 to 29 years voted for Mr Obama, slightly down from his percentage four years ago of 66%.
4) Lower-income voters went decisively for Mr Obama. Of those making under $50,000 (£31,000), 60% voted for Mr Obama. The president did not do badly with middle-income and richer voters either, gaining 46% and 44%, respectively in each category.
5) Mr Romney gained 62% of the Protestant vote.
Catholics and other Christians were split among the two major candidates. Those of no religion as well as Jewish voters gave Mr Obama a vote of confidence at 70%.
6) Throughout the campaign, both candidates said it was all about the economy, and voters' decisions largely came down to who they thought was best on the issue. Fifty-nine per cent of those polled said the economy was their foremost concern. Among those, a slight majority (51%) went for Mr Romney. So how does this match with an Obama win? Fifty-four per cent of voters who named unemployment as their top economic concern voted for Mr Obama.
7) What matters most in Americans' minds when they vote? About three in 10 wanted a "vision for the future" and another three in 10 wanted a president who shared their values. Those who wanted a vision for the future voted more for Mr Romney (54% to 45% for Mr Obama).

And people wonder why a lot of conservatives believe that the Democratic party is elitist. Not to mention other countries being stymied about why the US is so divided.

Way to promote uniting the nation there, Hill.

Well, I call it conservative  reason, and you call it elitist, cuz I don't want the dumbest motherfuckers in the room running the country, or directing us how to run the country.

Which major party had a candidate tried to make Professor into an insult during his Senate campaign, in the best educated state in the Union?
Which major party pinned its hopes in this election on the entire science of polling and statistics being wrong?
Which major party had a candidate claim that the President encouraging young people to get a college education indicated the President was a snob?
Which major party had multiple prominent candidates for President who denied the accuracy of both biology nd climatology despite the overwhelming evidence in favor of both?
Which major political and social movement in this nation seeks to insulate and isolate themselves from reality by constructing their own network of "colleges" and media outlets?

If the shoe fits....

How can it be elitist when it's coming from Fox News?

Oh, that's right. Anything that proves republican voters are under-educated and ill informed has to elitist, no matter the source.

Well that's not news, and as a longtime ignorant motherfucker myself, I have to observe that what people crave the most is predictability, while the future, sadly, is unknowable.

Thus, a return to fifties values where wealth and gender decided all issues, seems attractive even if if it means a boot on your neck, whereas freedom and free will, the idea that what happens to you is partly choices you make, partly pure random chance and that shit could all change in 24 hours - or 24 seconds - is a fucking scary thought.

But you know, if you were ever in the military, you'd be surprised what the turtlest motherfucker can adapt to when they have to.

My understanding of Hill's politics os that he's a conservative who's given up on the new breed of republican. Please feel free to correct me here Hill, in the event I've ead you incorrectly.
I find the last remark kind of funny considering you aren't exactly inviting democrats in for tea since the election

And Fox news, official organ of the disgruntled wanna be and former aristocrats at AEI is much of the reason for their being so ill informed.

But don't listen to me, I'll just confuse you, daddy will make everything right for you.
