Methyl salicylic (salicylic acid) is the active ingredient in these types of creams, they also have asprin in them. The acid in the cream is an anti-clotting agent and at high doses can cause internal bleeding, arrhythmias of the heart, problems in the liver, and even in rare cases, death. Since this is absorbed through the skin once you've gone too far with the its application, it is very hard to stop the process. And this is all from external use! So use internally use would hurt very much and be quite unsafe.
The only place I would use these types of creams are the nipples or other not private areas and even then---use very sparingly as a little goes a long way.
For similar effects you could try DUREX's "Play Longer" or a gel called "O'My". If you want to go a natural route ginger root is safe for insertion and provides a burning sensation as well.
