I recently relocated and lost nearly all of my toys. I need to restock, but I don't know where to look to find some new ones. My originals were from a local store but I can't find one close enough to my current location. So this is turning into two questions. Where is you favorite place to stock up on the essentials and to buy online or off?

I think it would depend on the item. But, we've always had great service from The Stockroom.

you can buy a lot of the basics on amazon, surprisingly.

I've been very satisfied with Details Toys and even had good luck on eBay.

Amazon, really? That one is pretty surprising...I'm kind of weary about places like ebay I guess I just have horrible luck at choosing seller or something. Thanks for the suggestions!

Don't discount your local hardware stores. Even if it is an interem solution while you look for the right replacements.

Home depot & dollar store have a suprising array of toys at reasonable prices

Are you looking just for S&M toys, or also more vanilla ones like vibrators and dildos?

For the latter, I'd strongly recommend http://www.edenfantasys.com/. They've got helpful reviews and ratings and lots of search parameters and product info. So, like, if you want a 6" long waterproof silicone vibrator that's not too loud, you can look for exactly that, and then read some reviews to see if it's any good or not. But they don't have a lot of S&M gear, beyond the padded handcuff type stuff you'd get at any sex shop.

most of the toys on amazon are under "health and personal care". i've gotten a ton of stuff from Sportsheets and Doc Johnson on there.

I recommend edensfantasys.com. You get free stuff with every purchase. Sign up to the newsletter and get a free vibrator. You can also get a free vibrating ring or wipes or something. Sometimes they give out free vibrators just bc. I love new toys... especially free ones. Ha!

I also use amazon too b/c sometimes I dont wanna wait so ill go with prime shipping

Wow thanks for all the help! I've found a few new great sites. And the free stuff sounds interesting.

Depending on your location you might also want to keep an eye out for yearly local lifestyle type events as well.
Buying online can be an ok choice, but there's nothing like being able to pick up and feel the implement you intend to use.
Craftsmanship and all that ;)
Chicago has International Mr Leather every May
Florida is having the Beyond Leather event upcoming in April.
San Fransisco of course has Folsum Street Fair.
Dunno about other locations, but they're not all that difficult to find with a little diligence.
Open an account on FetLife and do a search for events local to you.

Good luck...rebuilding a toy bag can be quite costly but if you've the cash to spare it's also quite fun.

YAY SHOPPING! ;)
