Can someone PLEASE explain to me why men get on here, just see a woman's picture and ASSUME that he can have her? I have had it happen almost daily here, no I don't want to block all males because I do love meeting people and welcome Dom messages because they may offer some advice that I had never thought of before. And I don't mind respectful messages from males. It's the dumbasses that get me. I don't believe ANYTHING is in my profile that leads ANYONE to believe that I am looking for a male slave; in fact, I am pretty sure it confirms what I am looking for pretty clearly. So, when these messages come in, as I say in my profile, the sender receives a rather irrtated and sarcastic message back. Now, this is my favorite part, soon after sending my message I get one back calling me a bitch, a lesbo slut (not a lesbian, just bi) or some stupid remark. I usually reply nicely before blocking the idiot. I guess my question is why do men do this? Do they really not get that some of us women are quite Dominant and want to own a female slave? Do they really think that we Dommes' are going to see their profile and ALL OF A SUDDEN change what we want, as if the sender is that special? If anyone has ever dealt with this and can offer some insight, please do. But DON'T be rude. Be nice and just offer some insight. If anyone who answers this is one of those men, then be prepared for me to answer with a lot of sarcasm in my message.

I don't believe they are looking for anything but the debate, some manipulation, humiliation or a reason to get aggressive, justifiably so in their twisted little minds. Some do it simply because you don't want a man and they hate that. Whatever their motive is I am sure has differences depending on the man and some days my response changes, but most often I don't give them a chance to respond to whatever I say. After dealing with it for so long, I just said fail, blocked or reported and blocked them. No more frustration, no more wondering and they can't come back at me to try to accomplish whatever it was they wanted.

I then created my profile in such a way that scares most of them off. Many do read. Still they wouldn't be a fit for me and I found how I said things and what I talked about pretty much cut most the bs out. Those that tend to write me are pretty decent and have been reading my journal for years.

Take control of it. Your upset I am sure pleases them.

MistressSyMoane, you're speaking to the wrong people. All of us forum dwellers are here to read and write each other, and talk.

The folks you're referring to don't fully understand that there's a difference between Amazon.com, where you look at something pretty and instantly buy it; and social media, where you have actual people on the other end, who have the right of refusal.

Or, if you'd prefer a more abbreviated version:

Some people are stupid.

This is my first thought but thought maybe I was missing something too. I have read a few of your answers on some posts and they gave me a little giggle or huge laugh. Thank you for that as it was needed.

LOL...sadly no. Just frustrated with the stupidity I have been dealing with today. I know I must sound new to this type of thing. But I am not. I guess, more than anything, I needed to rant. But thanks for the reply.

Grown up men don't contact in the same way some of the males do. There are men of all flavors and I know some and like them very much. lol The ones that come off like idiots are simply that. Grown ups, are a far different situation. Because we are talking about some idiots doesn't mean we don't know some grown up men. [;)]

honestly, it's something you'll have to get used to on the other side. lots of guys (and quite a few ladies) send out a bunch of generic messages hoping someone will reply, often without reading the profile.

don't let it get you down...not everyone's like that.

MSM, while it is a pity the downside of so much of the flotsam and jetsam we ladies (and others) are routinely subject to is a bit depressing, look on the bright side. In no time at all, you'll have much to contribute to the thread "Just plain LAME messages from the other side," and like the rest of us, will suffer the odd mix of woefully shaking your head from side to side, while laughing at the utter inanity of it. It may not seem like it now, but for the most part, it gets easier to take as you go.

Hang in there girl, we know what you're going through, and sincerely empathize!

i think its great, to see the ones who would never be a potential anything, right up front...you just delete and move on or if they continue with the emails then just use your block button, thats why they have it here :)
and for the record i get ones from females who also dont take the time to read, although numbers are lower yes, it does happen its an online free site, and one cant expect too much as world is full of such people and they can congregate easily online especially on these sort of sites and 'go fishing' for those who will respond or play along

also want to add the forums can be nice to read, (i rarely post as dont have anything useful to add so no need) but there seem to be alot of regulars who are informative as well as funny sometimes :)

If your a member of FetLife, there is a group called Return to Sender which is nothing but that. Helps to see that you aren't alone, and then you can easily laugh and blow it off.
