I have taken completely new submissives both as a Dominant and as a Mentor. In each case, each was someone I had met coincedentally that felt comfortable sharing their curiosities with Me and exploring same. I was happy to discuss things at length with them, introduce them into the local Scene, and help them explore their feelings, and close friendships grew through time. That said, someone totally new to BDSM still usually has desires, wonderings, *something*...inside that drew them to explore it. For Me to consider a newb, (*chuckle*), he would have to be ready to reach into that part of himself and be open to learn, question, share and experiment. He would have to show Me he is actively interested in developing those desires into real-time, either by being willing to participate in scene events, groups, workshops, munches or the like, or, if that's not possible, in reading books and participating online in discussions here and there. On top of that, We would have to have some compatibility and mutual interest in developing something together. So, while it's happened for Me a few times, it isn't often, and not something I'd look for. ~Thea
