Was Lincoln as socialist or not?

I'm a socialist and I'm telling you Obama is far from a socialist. But hey, everybody who calls Obama a socialist fails to recognize that we have a mixed economy anyway. There is a lot socialist policies in our economy. Social Security has the word right in it. Everything the public does is socialist. Fund highways? Socialist. Public schools? Socialist. Corporate welfare, bailouts and tax incentives to companies? All socialist. The tax breaks to oil companies the republicans love so much? Socialist. Police, fire, Homeland security, FBI, CIA (along with all the alphabet agencies). Socialist.
