I can safely say I am proud of Florida after last weeks Presidental elections.Florida voters surprised me and I am glad they did.In a state that can be rather conservative at times,Florida voters proved that Florida is a Purple state,not a Red or Blue state.I have usually been one of Floridas biggest crictics too,such as Governor Rick Scott for example.I almost lost faith in Florida voters 2 years ago after the 2010 elections.But my faith has been restored in Florida voters after the 2012 elections. If anyone looks,Florida is really the only state in the Southeastern US that voted for Obama not just once but twice.Florida Democrats came out in full force and they proved Florida is still a major player.Regarless how long it takes to count the votes!

The best look I have seen in years was when Obama won both Florida and the USA.To see that sad look on conservatives.Truly priceless.Now we have states wanting to secede from the union!What a shocker.These Tea Party types are truly demented loons who shouldnt be allowed to vote at all.The foam at their mouths is almost amazing.

You should be proud of your state(though appalled,and angry,with the republican functionary's who screwed up her citizens access to voting booths)your fellow citizens waited hours,in appalling heat,all so they could exercise their franchise . Bravo Floridians.
