I guess it's appropriate that my first thread contribution be of a political nature.

I am curious as to the thoughts others have regarding this hush hush HUGE project.  A conservative publication broke the story, due to its concern about our country's borders.

Is Bush concerned about the potential transportation of illegals and  weapons, and the security of our borders or is it all about more money?

Didn't you post this a month or two ago just to have the Mods remove it? What makes you think it'll stick this time?

I haven't posted this or anything remotely similar before, nor have I seen mention of it here.... which is why I posted it.

After what I've done ? Shit.

I see no reason to get rid of this, I think it should be broadcast to every terrorist in the world, as well as all the radicals in the US. Let them know where it is.

I haven't seen it posted, before.

That is disturbing. Well, I'd say it's pretty much official once that road is built. That US, Mexico, Canda, will pretty much just be like three large states in one country. I guess this is our governments answer to the EU. Mexican truck drivers, Mexican Ports, Mexican factories. But none of it helps the average US citizen or Canadian Citizen for that matter. Once a super fast highway reachs all the way down there, I can't see a reason to build any factory here any more or maintain a major union port in california.

Let me preface this by saying that I would have been disappointed if your first thread would have been entitled something like ''Sub or Slave?'' or ''Being approached by an owned submissive''    --- ; }

I am too!

This puts us on the fast track to a more dominant form of globalism. It’s a pretext for the further dissolution of our autonomy.

What’s far more important than the actual secrecy in regards to creating this highway, is the other topic that’s contained within the story.

The ''North American Union’’ is both the precept and foundation for the ‘’Uni-polar’’ world that's been mentioned in other posts.

HUMAN EVENTS ONLINE - A North American Union to Replace the United States of America? by Jerome R. Corsi

Building a North American Community - Council on Foreign Relations

The devil shows his face twice in this story. Notice there has never been any mention in main-stream news about this? It’s also very telling that something is terribly terribly wrong when an archetypical right-wing  publication/organization like Human Events has exposed such treachery.

This doctrine was developed by non-other than our friends over at the CFR {Council on Foreign Relations} And they even acknowledge it on their web site! So, anyone who casts this as a conspiracy theory is obviously hiding underneath an empty peanut shell waiting to be stepped on.

It’s definitely about money. But it’s also about control. So many think we are fighting a ‘’war on terror’’  - I think we are fighting a war for profits. And one day, we’ll come to the realization that the blood of our sons and daughters has been shed for the one day privilege of wearing a ''blue smock'' with a yellow smiley face on the back.

In the past transportation ways have always been built to enable military troop movements. For example, the German Autobahn was built shortly before World War II to enable the German Blitzkrieg. The Panama Canal was built shortly before World War I.

The purpose of this transcontinental road through the USA obviously serves the purpose to facilitate the conquest of both Canada and Mexico by the USA. In fact, Canada and the USA may both gang up on Mexico and the rest of Middle America, the ultimate targets being Venezuela and Colombia in South America. This is long-term scheming and considering the blatant initiators, it is a conspiracy with evil intent.

The EU is completely different to NAFTA because of its beginnings and has had great benefits for Europe but was first and foremost set up to integrate the French and German economy so neither country would be inclined to start a war against the other again. Jobs have steadily moved east but also west too. Ireland has benefited greatly by redistribution of wealth and is no longer an emigrating nation and Britain has continued to create new jobs despite a lot of outsourcing by companies.

The point? NAFTA could redistribute wealth south to Mexico and so slow down and eventually stop illegal immigration north into the US while new opportunities could create new wealth in the US and Canada. It all depends on which way you look through the telescope.

The downside is what is known in Europe as the democratic deficite because supernational agencies are required and this is at the heart of the problem of the EU, bringing back government closer to the people while still being able to function as a socio-economic and political organisation.

The thought of tractor trailors from MX on interstate highways is chilling!

The American truckers can barely drive with 4 wheelers...let alone to throw in rickety MX semis into the mix.

yikes.

Thanks guys, for the thoughts....

My thoughts... I guess the highway will only help Bush's causes... big money,  lack of environmental concern as 12 lanes of highway trample across farmland, at the expense of tax payers in the states beings trampled; our borders will continue to remain vulnerable, when I thought securing and protecting the U.S. was the whole point of a war going on as long as WWII, and it will now be much easier for illegals to enter... (will potential terrorists have a free ride literally?).... and trucking jobs that are now bringing in a fair amount for American workers will likely become a $5.00 an hour job for Mexican workers.  At least Bush is consistent....

And Ranger...  now that I have posted My political thread.... I can now focus on a bdsm thread... hmmm.... How about 'How many years is appropriate to deny your slave/sub orgasm?'.  <smiles>

The money.
Strengthen borders against people, smash them for business to use the people trapped. Countrys are great for politicians to get elected in, but inconvenient for them to get massive cash and bribes in.
People are to be kept in fear and coralled. Business is to be free.
Money shall have no borders, nor patriotism, nor pay it's own way. Money will rule by convincing us we have a country and culture. Money will buy our elected managers.

It's depressing. But no more than the majority deserves. Amused to death, comfortably numb, etc, etc, you get what you pay for, especially if money is all that you think is of value.
