When I saw cracked.com, I thought about The Onion, too, but it isn't a satirical article. It didn't convince me of anything, though.

Last night (Friday) Lawrence O'Donnell did a segment about the secession petitions and showed an interview (he did not conduct it) with the author of the Alabama petition. This man said he started the petition because Obama has stolen too many of our rights already and secession is the only option to get them back and that Obama has been bad for business. O'Donnell then pointed out that the this petitioner is a former businessman; he owned a topless car wash--a car wash staffed by bare breasted women. A couple of years ago his town initiated an obscenity ordinance which put the car wash out of business. Obama had nothing to do with that. It just all bat crap crazy.
