ORIGINAL: Politesub53 Marini my Sweet, didnt you just say that in your first reply, in not so many words Yes I did, and you got it. polite? IF/WHEN it happens, I think we might just have to sit back and watch it. Another question could be, "Can all out war in the Middle East, even be stopped or prevented?" That's what I meant about the situation in the Middle East, being of Biblical proportions. Maybe it CAN"T be stopped. Maybe the best we can do, is kick the can down the road/ hold it at bay/contain "it", for as many years as possible. Many of the responses were limited to the implications of only current escalations/wars/events, in particular the the Israeli/Palestinian conflict. I have learned that most people really can't see or go beyond what is happening today. My OP was a questions for people to think about possibilities down the road/and years from TODAY. Many can't express an idea, or make a point without 10 links to back them up. Independent thought and critical thinking is dying a slow internet death. Thanks for the interesting discourse, polite.
