AthenaSurrenders -> If you could bottle a feeling... (11/17/2012 12:50:19 PM)

And take a sip whenever you feel down in the dumps, what would you bottle?

For me it would be:

- The breathtakingly exciting moment when you first realise you're falling in love
- Hearing my baby's first real laugh
- That moment half way through your toughest workout yet when you realise you are going to make it after all because you're stronger than you thought
- Waking up naturally after a long, refreshing sleep
- Putting on that dress which makes you feel sexy
- The adrenaline rush after the first drop on the rollercoaster
- That exhausted-but-satisfied feeling after you've worked really, really hard and can finally rest
- Snuggling in bed with my husband and listening to the wind and rain

And you?

last year i finally learnt to drive, and bought a car. one sunday i decide i wanted to do more than just feed the horses, so i drove across country to a garden center. nothing much exciting really for most people, but for me the freedom to do that meant so much. it was a beautiful day, wonderful countryside, windows open, music on loud, and that deep breath of contentment.

that deep breath of contentment is something i am looking forward to in the future too. my boy and i are going through a horridly tough time at the moment, so i can't wait for it to be over.

there are many exciting things that are feel good, but i think being content is the best of all feelings.......especially after really good sex [:D] i'll have me some of that anytime.

That feeling you get as an adult when you get to feel like a kid again.

The joy you feel on a sunny day and everything looks beautiful to you.

That glowing feeling you get after you've exercised real hard.
Snuggling with my cat. I would even bottle the smell.
The sense of relief when you realize winter's finally over. Seeing peppy yellow wildflowers blooming, smelling grass and pollen, basking in the new light. Wearing shorts for the first time of the year.
The adrenaline rush of a busy night's service.
The comfort you get from a hand squeeze.
The amazement you feel from watching snow fall silently.

The feeling I got, watching my son with each of his sons, when they were born. Watching him hold them for the first time, seeing his face while looking at them.........overwhelmed me.

The feeling I got in a relationship with one specific woman.

Waking up after a great night's sleep, having spent the day before outdoors doing something that is giving me that wonderful, slightly stiff muscles feeling, having showered lotioned and perfumed before bed, slept in my bed with cool freshly washed sheets........and not having to jump up to start a work day. To just lay there, stretch, and enjoy the moment.

Crawling into bed the night before the above.

Coming home to GD and my furry babies.

Staying home on a work day because of snow, spending the day cozy inside, watching it snow outside and then taking the bigger dogs out to play in the deep snow. Enjoying the special, strange muffled quiet outside of a heavy snow.

The warm, pit of stomach feel when you look into that person's eyes and know... Also would say, that stopping breathless moment just before a kiss

There are many feelings I could describe...

...but the one that popped into my head when I read the thread title was the feeling I had during the first month and a half or so communicating with CRYPTICLXVI. :)

For me is it's the sensation I get from intricate rope bondage. Being tied in such a way sends me into a very deep sub state trance.

The feeling I got after I had my brain tumour removed. My head was swollen, I had two very black puffy eyes and my hair had been shaved. He held me and kissed me and looked at me as if I was beautiful. Never again will I feel so special and so loved.

The sight of masses of daffodils (I am Welsh so they are always special)

The smell after rain on a summers day

The feeling I had when I was able to drive again after a 2 year forced break. Amazing feeling of independence

That 'higher than a kite' feeling I had for about a week the day my grandson was born and I held him for the very first time.
On a kinkier note:  my first public scene was amazing and wonderful and terrifying and ........................................... I could go on and on about 'that' rush!  ;)

On a summers night, in a storm, looking out at the
rain from shelter, the smell of earth and moisture
in the air...
Wrapping myself in a blanket of sound, darkness
and clarity. that feeling.

The feel of a summer rain on my face as I dance and play in it.
The smile on my sons face as we share special moments.
The kiss that is want, desire, love and you are mine all wrapped into one long moment.

That feeling you get when shaking and pushed past your boundaries when he smiles and validates my submission......

The feeling of my head on Master's lap.

The feeling I had when I saw this hot, confident walking, nice assed man walk across the street in front of me when going to meet Master for the first time and finding out it was him.

A moonlit night walk by myself and seeing happy couples strolling along happily and children skipping along in front of their parents and everyone is just out enjoying the night, going no place in particular.

The heartwarming feeling Master and I had when we were in the car one day on a Sunday morning after leaving a cafe for pastries and coffee. We pulled up beside another at a light. There was this sweet, cute, little girl in the backseat. She waved to Master, he waved back and started making funny faces to her and she responded in same and she had a huge grin on her face and waved bye to him as the light turned green. She was just adorable and it just made us feel all giggly and happy that Sunday.

When my daughter first moved out and made it on her own with no help from me and she was stable and happy. I was very proud of her for being able to do so since I was very fearful that she would not be able to and she would need to come home and not able to cope in the big, bad world.

Another time when I was on a bus and a dad and little boy boarded. Dad stood and gave his son the seat next to me. They were on their way to a baseball game, the boy's first one ever. He started to talk to me about his first time and how excited he was and told me he was going to grow up and be a baseball player and about where he lived and such. It was so very cute because he was trying to sound like an adult but in that 6 year old voice of a child lol. Dad apologized to me for his son but I told him no need. I loved talking to him. Dad just smiled and then they got off at the stadium. I love little kids like that. Unfortunately they grow up. hrmph.
