Yes there are lots of us in the UK. In my entirely non-scientifically-researched opinion I think you have better odds in the UK. Although by sheer numbers the US might have more it's also MUCH bigger and it's cities are far further apart, so 99% of those American Dommes would be out of your reach anyway. On the other hand, nothing is too far away in the UK and we have a very dense population.
What you might be noticing however, is that there aren't many dommes in general. Female dominants are a relatively rare breed, especially compared to male subs, and this is even more true online. So the ones out there are in very high demand and have lots of competition.
I notice you're in London. There is so much 'fun' going on in London. Get out into the real world, your chances are better and even if you don't find a domme, you might find playfriends to experiment with and you will learn a lot. What is there, about 9 million people living in London? Lots of Americans here would love the chance to be in a city that big.
