Canadian Thanksgiving is long over, and this doesn't quite fit in the traditional thankful threads. This is about someone who pioneered the technology that allows this board to exist; our ideas to be shared and flow; and on a personal level, allowed me to meet a girl I might never have otherwise found. So thanks, Licklider, for being the type of geek that lets a geek like me be who I am. (Even if you have a funny name.)
