I was always average chested, around 34 to 36C. Then I gained a lot of weight. Got to a 44F. Then I lost a lot of weight. To my shock and horror, my bust size got BIGGER. The "girth" of fat that used to be around them receded, making more boob sticking out of my chest.

Now, at around 165, I'm a 34H. Yes, folks, a fucking H cup. Makes bra buying difficult (and expensive). Makes for sore shoulders and upper back. Makes it impossible to buy certain kinds of blouses and lingerie. Makes it very difficult to buy a decent sports bra. An XL fits the boobage but is too big around the chest and back. Anything smaller is too small for the boobs. What can I say, I'm a visual freak now.

When I reach my goal weight I'm getting a reduction. Oh what I wouldn't give to be a D cup.

You will lose a very large amount but you will still be large for two reasons.....the extra skin that will not stretch back to normal and that you have always been large. At the size you are now, you will never be 110 until you have all the loose skin you will have after losing a large amount of fat. The surgery is not a minor surgery since almost all the skin on your body will need to be tightened.

My sister was never really fat in high school, but she did inherit our paternal grandma's boobs and was huge. She wears something like an FF or GG. Anyway, she joined the Army and they ran her into the ground with exercise. Ragging her to death about getting her weight down. Believe me, there wasn't an ounce of spare flesh anywhere on her body, except for her boobs that would not shrink. Even several doctors told them this.

If the Army hadn't bought a bad batch of birth control pills in 1984, ensuring that my married sister got knocked up (also allowing her to have some extra weight) she would have been bounced out of the Army because her boobs wouldn't shrink.

Most other women I know, when dieting their breasts are the first things to shrink.

My grandma ended up needing to have breast reduction surgery because her breasts were so heavy they caused terrible back pain. Having yours shrink some through dieting might help if you are having upper back pain... No matter how much you diet, I doubt you will ever be an A or B cup, so don't worry about it.

Mine have stayed at 44DD for over 25 years now, so...even putting on a significant amount of weight hasn't made them get any larger.

I just have t say that even though I have big red scars under my boobs, my reduction was TOTALLY worth it!
I am so much happier with my body now that everything is in it's proper place and my boobs look normal.

So, they cut under the boobs? I was under the impression they went under the nipples (removing nips, putting nips back on).

OP, when I was younger and skinny, I had huge boobs, now that I am a tad bit older

and a smidge bigger I have even bigger boobs, so I would assume that you might loose a small portion of them, but not a lot. I know most of my weight now comes from my boobs. Jeez, I need a hammock for them. lol.

Not always I was skinny up till I was 17 -18 then at those ages I was a size 22 and then I reached my highest weight of 330 when I was 25 ish. When I met Daddy 7 years ago I was around 290 and now I am maintaining a 317.

Sorry to tell you but a size 22 at that young of an age isn't small. I think the only way you will ever have anything smaller than maybe a DD if you ever do get down to a small size, will be through reduction.

I was always large breasted even when I was young. I was 115 and a 36DD. Then about 14 years ago, I had a reduction to a 34B. I've never been happier. Now over the years I have put on a little extra weight. I'm now 125 and my breasts have grown back to a 34C. I'm not thrilled with it but I'm still glad I'm nowhere as big as I was. I also know that once I lose these extra pounds, my breasts will go back to a B cup again.

The thing though is that when you are very large, all that extra skin does not go back like a rubberband. It stretches no matter how much weight you lose and skin does weigh a lot.

As for the question about scars, I don't remember if Lucifyre had the same form of surgery that I did but I had what is called keyhole. They don't remove the nipple. They only cut around it leaving it still attached at the top and just pulling and lifting it up as they cut around the bottom to remove the tissue. I still have some scarring but most of it barely noticeable except for a couple of small rope scars I had but even they still fade a little everyday.

I have had large boobs all my life, when I was 12 they were already a C cup...

I am currently a 38/40 F depending on the store (how can the same size be different in different stores incidently??) - back when I was 25 I lost a lot of weight and went down to a UK size 10/12 over most of the body... aside from the boobs, they shrank also but only to a 34 D/DD TOM dependant.

Even thin I have big(ish) boobs. (I was 36DD - 26 - 38 for most of my life) If I lose weight the measurement around my chest goes down, but I don't lose cup size.

Its probably different manufactures. Each brand has their own pattern and method of sewing that means sometimes a 16 lets say from one brand wont fit as good as a 16 from another brand.

The pic attached is the kind of cut they made to do my lift. I have a scar running from under my armpit to just below the inner fold of each breast. Then I have a second scar going from the middle of the first one up to the bottom of my nipple and I have scars around each nipple.

It depend on where you gain/loose weight the most, AKA your body type. I'm an inverted triangle (I'm shaped a lot like a "V"), so I hold most of my weight in my upper body (bust, shoulders), and I have NO hips, NO ass ;( I used to be like... 220, but I dropped down to 130, and my bra size went from a 34HH to a 30G, but that's just because that's my body type. It honestly depends on your body type, how you lose the weight, and how fast you lose it.

(from experience, starving will take a good chunk of the fat from your breasts, so make sure you're eating healthily and getting the nutrients you need if you're worried about losing your breast size).

I lost 133 in a period of 7 months. It wasn't healthy, I was sick and couldn't eat much. A small yogurt or a jar of baby applesauce along with a few crackers were my diet. Went from 320 to 187, sometimes losing as much as a lb a day. My boobs stayed a 3D (or F cup i you prefer), but went from a 44 to a 40 around.

I also worked for a major bra manufacturer and can't believe how many women werent aware that the cup size has nothing to do with the "around size". Men are even worse at it.

So they didn't keyhole cut your nipples Lucifyre. It's always interesting to see how different surgeons do the work. I think they did keyhole on mine was to make my areolas smaller since they were huge. I soooo like them much better now. lol

Ehh well...what they did was called an "anchor" cut. It is just a keyhole cut plus more. There was a lot that needed to be lifted.
Funny thing is, we had discussed reduction when we first talked about it and he actually only ended up removing only skin and no breast tissue. He was worried I wouldn't have enough left over if he took tissue...and he turned out to be right. My areolas are also A LOT smaller than they were previously. Half dollar sized now instead of baby head sized (I use baby head as a referance because when I breast fed shorty when he was brand new my areolas could cover his whole face LOL) Oh and he did take some fat from under my armpits...the tubular shaped fat roll behind the boobs.
