yeah, I had underarm removed also. It's the only place I really have any scarring left. It was a little thicker there.

TFTB, don't let any of this be a deterrence to you losing weight. Losing the weight will be the best thing for you even if your breasts don't get smaller. Losing the weight will make you healthier overall. Good luck.

i recently dropped 20 pounds in a few short weeks, not the way i'd like to, but if it maintains i'll have to buy all new clothes. i went down one bra size to a 42d. the women in my family are very barrel chested, must the eastern european genetics. i kinda hope i'll lose some more in the boobs, originally i was a 38c at 12, would love to get that back, especially with the car accident i had many years ago. it would lessen the upper back pain and possibly alleviate a pinched nerve. lose the weight slow but steady and enjoy whatever size you end up, it will be a longer life to enjoy if you do!

When I lose weight, the boobs are the first to go...when I gain weight, so do the sisters. I think exercise has a bit to do with it too.

I agree that the bra makers don't agree on the sizing...one company has me at a loose 44DD while another one has me in a tight 46DD.

I wish I was a 38C again. Back then, I was in the military and lifted weights to keep my pecs in shape.

When I was in 4th grade I was already leaps and bounds bustier than the other girls. I was skinny as a child. I didn't get to 200 pounds till I was 17-18 and I hit 300 mid 20$s
So, I was wondering if I ever got down to 110-135 would I possibly still have huge boobs?

When i went to the renn faire in 2011, i weighed roughly 145 and was a 34DD.
This year i weighed 125 at the faire and had noticably less bewbage.
Now i'm just under 120 lbs and holding at a heavy C.
The smaller you get, the smaller the girls get.

And a word to the wise, cocoa-butter is your friend during rapid periods of weight loss.

In less than 20 mine I had 2 diff shops tell me 2 diff sizes. And then I found a bra place that could fit me right, and they contradicted the size id just been told last week.

A lot of places don't actually know what they're doing when it comes to fitting women with the right size (ie. Victoria's Secret). I just measured myself and shopped around until I found the general size I seem to fit well. It also helps to get to know the company behind your nicest bras, since sizes sometimes change from style to style.

Not going to help the discussion, but when i lost 5 stone in a year. my cup size got bigger, I went from 46d to 40 dd, or with some measurements 40f.

Ive now given up, get told so many dif sizes, i go for a dd cup and what ever feels comfortable.

The UK has the largest breasted women in Europe, apparently. I'm a 32f and my daughter, who is 112 pounds, is a 28e. Our sizes are different, though, and we have Bravissimo, who only stock over a d cup.

Some bra manufacturers fit the old fashioned way - measure under your bust and add 4/5, then the difference between that number and your bust size is your bra size. Modern manufacturers like Freya measure under your bust and that number is your bra size. For every inch between that and your bust size, go up a cup.

I'd always go with a modern manufacturer if you have a large bust. Their fit is better.

Hi, If I had breasts I would listen to LaTigresse who seems to be a little more serious than some others (no criticism of anyone intended).
Now I had a gf years ago with two daughters, who all had a few things in common: about 5'3"-5'6", 280 lbs - 310 lbs, and breasts that were so big they hurt. One day we decided to weigh each ladies breasts (and, yes, I had fun!). Results: Mom 10 lbs, and the other 12 lbs, Daughter #1) 15 lbs. each, and daughter #2) 10 lbs each. Once I started imagining carrying that much weight on my chest I could understand why the were all miserable and uncomfortable. They loved the attention that big breasts bring, but hated to have to carry them around all day every day. That is why my friend (a plastic surgeon) does three breasts reductions for each breast enhancement. Lose weight, yes, but in a healthy way and don't expect great weight lose in one week. It took a long time to put on, and will take a long time to take off. See your doctor, and have him recommend a coach. Most hospitals have one that is usually free. (Federal Gov. actually pays for it with your money).
And, yes, everyone above was over the age of 18.
