I don't take anyone online to be who they claim to be, to do so would be a fool. I occasionally respond to a profile, throw a hook and see if there is a bite. I wouldn't go so far as to say I'm disgusted, it doesn't mean anywhere near that to me, just mildly surprised and amused at how irrational replies can be.

If you meet in a public place to talk it must be quite hard for them to taking out their genitals in the bar unless you're in a very liberal state or a nudist colony I suppose...

However yes I get the principle. It's good to try to speak to people before you meet I find and get to know them a bit. Then I look for a difference between what is said and what is done as that usually indicates if someone is perhaps not to be trusted and then I will not progress it if I have worries. I can think of three times I've done that and each time the person seemed so compatible except for my gut instinct and may be I'm wrong about it but I don't think so and even if I am wrong if how they are behaving does not indicate much interest other than sex then I don't want that either. I need someone to whom to be close.

Oh and anyone giving oral sex early on before they know someone - it is not safe sex.
