tidbit5021 -> Curious about others' experience here (12/1/2012 11:08:30 PM)

Hi, I'm new to this site. I've been chatting with some folks and I'm having fun.

I'm wondering if other subs are having the following experience--you've exchanged a couple of messages with a Dom, you've both started getting more specific about what you like, and suddenly the conversation is over.

I'm curious because I've tried to be very polite and let Doms I've chatted with know if I don't think we've got enough in common--no harm/no foul.

Sure, I've run across some fakers and jerks--but it is the lack of directness that I'm finding frustrating.

Thanks.

Hi there tidbit

It is common on the internet for communication to cease unexpectedly or abruptly. It's one of those things that you have to shrug off and move on from.

It has been my experience in the past as well. I'm sure that most anyone can say the same thing.

It may be beneficial for you to participate on this side of CM and make friends here. We always welcome new prey.. I mean.. um.. newcomers! [;)]

Hi and welcome!

I'm afraid everyone who has ever hunted for a partner online has had that experience. It's just how the internet works. Could be they are too rude or lazy to turn you down nicely. Could be their wife came home and they had to hide their tracks. Could be a more suitable person came along and they forgot about you. Could be they found somewhere to get their rocks off, and that's all they were looking for.

Don't even give it a second thought. Not worth worrying about.Just think 'your loss' and move on.

Hi,

Thanks for the replies. I'm not upset about it--was just wondering if it was as common here as on vanilla sites.

Just frustrating--but I won't stop being polite.

Tidbit
